Dedication. When sleeping, one should mix sleep with single-minded devotion, starting from the head, towards the refuge that has not been withdrawn. The benefits of taking refuge and the meaning of what should be learned should also be explained as appropriate to the listener's mind. Fourth, cultivating compassion and bodhicitta: the basis is compassion, and the support is the mind of enlightenment. First, just as the ten directions of the sky, no matter how measured, are without end, so too is the realm of the world without end. All of this is pervaded without gap by sentient beings of the six realms. There is not one of these sentient beings who has not been my mother. Just as my births are countless, so too are the sentient beings who have not been my mother countless and endless. Each time they were my mother, they nurtured me as my mother in this life did, protecting me from all harm. They held me with loving hearts, nurtured me with compassionate actions, and bestowed endless benefits from countless doors. They are all kind mothers. What reason is there to differentiate between those who are close and those who are distant, saying this is my mother in this life and that is my mother in another life? All these beings, although they desire happiness, are deluded and unskilled in means, and constantly engage in the causes and effects of suffering, and are tormented. Remembering their pitiable state, one's mind is urged on by unbearable compassion, with tears flowing. Second, these mothers who have nurtured me with kindness since beginningless time are bewildered by the darkness of ignorance, their minds are disturbed by afflictions and they are driven mad, they are without the eyes to see what to accept and reject, they have no guide to lead them to virtue, they are beaten by misdeeds and fall into the abyss of samsara and the lower realms. If we abandon these beings, who is more shameless than us? Therefore, we must liberate these beings from the suffering of samsara and establish them in the bliss of liberation. I do not have the power to do this now, so in order that I may be able to liberate all beings, I will quickly attain the state of Buddhahood. For this purpose, I will practice this profound path. With such a single-minded aspiration, "I and limitless sentient beings are primordially Buddhas. In order to realize this nature, I generate the supreme bodhicitta." After reciting this and carefully contemplating its meaning, one ultimately attains the characteristics of ultimate bodhicitta.

Pray. All violations of the vows of body, speech, and mind, root and branch, are confessed and repented. All accumulations of defilements, sins, and faults are requested to be purified. After praying in this way, the positions of the four chakras inside the body are filled with the nectar of bodhichitta. All sins and defilements disappear as if they were being cleared away. Contemplate that the body and mind are intoxicated with immaculate bliss. Vajrasattva rejoices and smiles, saying: "Son of the lineage, all your sins and faults are purified." After giving this blessing, he dissolves into light and merges into oneself. Imagine oneself as Vajrasattva, clear like an image in a mirror of emptiness. Finally, rest in the state of inseparable bliss and emptiness. That is, the sins to be purified, the method of purification, and the purifier, the practitioner, are all contemplated as unreal, and sealed with the wisdom of the three wheels not being conceived. This is the supreme method of purifying sins. Finally, dedicate the merit. This should be done until signs of purification of sins are seen. The sixth, Guru Yoga, is the supreme method of transforming the favorable conditions of the profound path, the accumulations of merit and wisdom, into a source of strength. Because all the key points of interdependence of this path must be arranged from here. It consists of two parts: accumulating merit and making supplications. The first part is: In the sky in front, on a precious throne supported by lions, on a seat of various lotuses and sun and moon, the essence of all the root gurus and lineage gurus, the Great Vajradhara, with a blue body, one face and two hands, holding a vajra and bell, in union with the consort Vajravarahi, red in color, holding a curved knife and skull cup. Both are adorned with silk garments, jewels, and bone ornaments. The father is in vajra posture, and the mother is in lotus posture, complete with the mandala of peaceful and wrathful deities of the Sugatas on their bodies, surrounded by clouds of dakinis, dwelling in a realm of blazing five-colored light. At the crown is Om (藏文:ༀ,梵文天城体:ओम्,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡), at the throat is Ah (藏文:ཨཱཿ,梵文天城体:आः,梵文罗马拟音:āḥ,汉语字面意思:啊), and at the heart is Hum (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽). From Hum (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) emanates light. Invite all the gurus and Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, and they dissolve into inseparability, and contemplate that they are even more radiant than before. The embodiment of the Guru and the Sugatas, the very nature of the Three Jewels. And, the source of vows.
