Establishing the groundlessness and rootlessness, the latter shows the principle of abiding equally in the meaning of subduing. Secondly, in terms of recognizing the self-nature of awareness, there are three types: recognizing through the method of transferring blessings, recognizing on the ground of the view of reality, and recognizing on the basis of experiential practice. The first is: widely arranging the Tsok Khorlo (assembly wheel), making offerings and praying. The disciples offer the mandala, arrange their bodies in the correct posture, and take the one who introduces recognition as the object of meditation. According to the visualization sequence described earlier in Guru Yoga, and also, eliminating all faults, perfecting all virtues, bestowing all needs, after generating certainty in the essence of the union of all deities, entrust with the mind of "You know everything," completely letting go. Pray that the root lineage masters and great beings, with immeasurable compassion, may think of me and bless my continuum! Please bless that the realization of the profound path, the special continuum, may arise! Generate an unbearable longing of devotion, to the point of tears flowing. Then, pray to the Guru, Dharmakaya Kuntuzangpo (Samantabhadra). Please bless that the practice and realization of the profound path may arise in the continuum! And so on, after the lineage prayer, the Guru transforms into light with immeasurable compassion, dissolving from the crown of the disciple, making the disciple's body, speech, and mind inseparable from the Guru's Vajra three bodies, relaxing in the state of non-duality, letting the awareness abide, thereby raising the roar of blessings. The appearance of the three doors merges with the Guru, and conceptual thoughts arise as devotion. Relaxing in that state, the radiance of awareness merges into devotion. Habitual tendencies appear clearly without clinging, and devotion is liberated into self-awareness. Self-awareness, liberated in the realm of unborn, primordial purity, is called such. In that state, without accepting or rejecting, naturally abide. Although this is not in the fundamental explicit teaching, the practical experience of the Gurus can quickly arise, and the blessing is very great. Secondly, recognizing on the ground of the view of reality, in the Meaningful Teaching Sutra it says: Then, recognize conceptual thoughts as mind, recognize mind as emptiness, emptiness as appearance, appearance and emptiness as non-dual, non-duality as self-liberation, the five poisons as self-liberation, the six consciousnesses as self-liberation. Thus, seven terms are spoken.

From here: First, by leaving the three doors in their natural state, allow any appearance and sound of phenomena to arise clearly in the mind. Thus, all phenomena that appear in various ways are like the appearances of a dream, merely illusions of one's own discriminating thoughts, and there is not even a particle of truth established externally. Even on one basis, countless different appearances appear to different beings such as the six realms. Even the same person is fixated as enemies or friends due to different discriminating thoughts. Therefore, no matter what discriminating thoughts arise from the mind, the nature of mind itself does not waver, because the grasper and the grasped do not exist as two. Therefore, be certain that discriminating thoughts are mind. Moreover, the essence of mind, even the Buddhas have not seen, do not see, and will not see. So, what is there to characterize other than these clearly arising discriminating thoughts? In "Vast Expanse of Clarity," it says: "The thoughts and ideas of the mind, the display of wisdom, all appearances and awareness, are not separate from awareness itself." In "The Gur," it says: "Outside of the precious mind, there are no Buddhas and no sentient beings." As it is said. Second, that mind, whether it exists or not, arises or ceases, is permanent or impermanent, etc., is not established in any way. Because it is free from all elaboration, it cannot be pointed out as "this," therefore be certain that it is emptiness. The scripture says: "When looking inward at the mover, without abandoning, it is naturally liberated, like a bubble." In "Supreme Bliss," it says: "The nature of mind, without a root, cannot be found by searching, cannot be identified. As it is, the original state of emptiness, inexpressible, self-born primordial wisdom." As it is said. Third, although the essence is emptiness, without change, because its own power has not ceased, whatever arises will appear. The scripture says: "Unceasing power, whatever arises will appear. Empty and clear awareness, without change." And it says: "The nature of emptiness, whatever appears will appear. The characteristic of appearance, there is no arising." As it is said. Fourth, such appearances also have no other causes or conditions. Rather, the self-power of emptiness, like a reflection of the moon in water, appearance and emptiness are non-dual, abiding in the essence of one's own self-awareness. In "Union of Sun and Moon," it says: "For those objects that appear through focus, who realizes that they have no inherent existence? For this, appearance and emptiness are not two." As it is said. Fifth, thus appearance and emptiness are non-dual,
