Moreover, if one initially forcefully suppresses thoughts, not only will the mind not abide, but it will also become an obstacle, and it is considered difficult to generate samadhi. Therefore, the Sutra Ornament also says: 'Because attachment and so on are in that very thing, because of properly engaging with it, therefore, one becomes liberated by it, therefore, one definitely emerges from those.' And the Two Examinations say: 'Attachment binds the world, but attachment itself becomes liberation.' Thus, skillful means are spoken of. Furthermore, relying on an object, non-objectification arises excellently. Relying on non-objectification, non-objectification arises excellently. Therefore, the object becomes the very nature of non-objectification. Therefore, one should understand objectification and non-objectification as equal. As stated in the Discrimination of the Middle and the Extremes. Like that, the previously explained distinctions between samsara and nirvana, etc., the ordinary appearances, the coarse appearances of habitual clinging that easily arise in the mind, and then the subtle ones such as internal distinctions, increases, and consolidations, are gradually gathered, so that the sensory consciousness is not distracted elsewhere and is bound.

And also the same key point. Therefore, temporarily, the three doors abide in their natural state, the elements are not disturbed, diseases do not arise, and one abides in the natural state of meditation. Ultimately, the clinging to the three doors is naturally purified and liberated. The second is to show how to return to the original state, and the manner of returning. The first is: In "Vast Expanse of Luminosity" it says: "For the sake of realizing the meaning of primordial purity, having released it into its natural state, then return it to its original state." Therefore, the mind itself, which was previously released into its natural state, abiding in clarity and non-conceptuality, that itself, through the causes of peaceful, intermediate, and intense activities, should be gradually guided and trained in familiarity. Just as one who wishes to understand the whirling of a sword first trains with a wooden sword. The second is: In "After Death" it says: "The Hearer, Bodhisattva, and Wrathful One, through their own views, also return to their original state." Therefore, first is the view of the Hearer: the body's posture is unwavering, complete with the seven-fold posture. Speech is silent, so the movement of the breath naturally slows down and abides. The eyes are fixed intently on the space at the tip of the nose. The consciousness of the six aggregates, however it arises, is neither welcomed nor rejected, but left in its own state, so that the appearance of circumstances is clear in its own nature, and one should train in not losing the state of non-conceptuality. As it says in "Vast Expanse of Luminosity": "Through the Hearer's subtle view, the three doors of body, speech, and mind abide in their natural state." Just as it is said. The second is the view of the Bodhisattva: Other than that, as before, the eyes slightly shift from the space and gaze blankly, so that the consciousness that arises from that circumstance also arises clearly and without interruption. As soon as it arises, one should realize that its own nature is not established, that appearance and emptiness are inseparable like the moon in water. As the view of the Bodhisattva says: "Abiding in the natural state, one will obtain bliss." Just as it is said. The third is the view of the Wrathful One: Without losing the state of meditation, one rises from that state and takes irregular steps. The eyes move and look around. The mouth utters sounds such as "Haha Hihi," and one brings forth awareness and practices skills, so that self-arisen, self-manifest, free from elaboration, without rejection or acceptance, one should train in realizing it like a wave dissolving into the ocean. Therefore, the more numerous the appearances of circumstances, the more the wisdom of emptiness also increases, just as the more firewood there is, the greater the flame. It is also said: "Through the view of the Wrathful One, abiding in the natural state, the three qualities are also accomplished."
