The omniscient one with pure and boundless wisdom, with his boundless wisdom, can fully see all the knowable things that pervade the sky. Thus it is said. The ultimate truth is the realm of reality, and seeing the nature of this realm is called seeing the truth. A nihilistic emptiness that has nothing is not the ultimate truth. For the initial practitioners, in order to counteract self-grasping, It is said that selflessness and so on are taught, but in reality, it is necessary to know that the luminous realm of reality is naturally present, uncompounded, and spontaneously accomplished. The reason for this is that in the intermediate teachings, all phenomena are said to be like clouds, unreal like dreams, and the aggregation of causes and conditions is also without self-nature like illusions, and so on. However, in this final teaching, the constant, unchanging, and inherently existent truth, the uncompounded and unconditioned, are taught. If one thinks that there is a contradiction, then this essence is empty because it is devoid of faults and compounded things. However, it is not an emptiness that abandons its own qualities. That is, the naturally pure realm, the uncompounded, is like the sky, while the happiness and suffering of samsara, karma, and the aggregates produced by them are taught as being like clouds, illusions, and emanations. This is the antidote to self-grasping, and it is the antidote to clinging to annihilation. After this, five faults such as clinging to emptiness as annihilation will arise. In order to eliminate these faults, the ultimate reality of the tathāgatagarbha is taught. As it is said in the Uttaratantra: The true limit is all conditioned things, all aspects are empty and silent, afflictions, karma, and their ripening, are spoken of as being like clouds and other metaphors. The function of afflictions is like clouds, karma is like enjoying pleasure in a dream, the ripening of afflictions and karma, the aggregates are like illusions and transformations. Previously, it was established in this way, but later in this supreme continuum, in order to eliminate those five faults, it is said that the nature of the realm exists. Thus it is said. The fifth fault is: being timid, despising inferior beings, not clinging to the correct view, and not respecting the correct Dharma. We have five faults, and those who have these faults are taught in order to eliminate these faults. Having understood that this realm is naturally present in oneself and others, one knows that it is not difficult for one's own mind to attain liberation, and one generates joy and

Respecting all sentient beings as possessing the nature of the Buddha, and with the wisdom that realizes the ultimate realm, and the wisdom that sees the true nature, and the circle of immeasurable love expanding, one is able to accomplish the benefit of others. As it is said in the Uttaratantra: "Thus, it arises from hearing, joy and respect like a teacher, wisdom, knowledge, and great love arise. For the sake of generating the five dharmas, it arises from that. Because there is no excess, no inferiority, and no equality, in the flawless and virtuous one, having made oneself and sentient beings equal, one quickly attains perfect enlightenment." Thus, the way in which the essence of the Sugata is said to be universally present in the realm of sentient beings is also the intention of all the great tantras. As it is said in the Two Examinations Tantra: "Sentient beings are themselves Buddhas, but they are obscured by adventitious stains. If those are removed, they are themselves Buddhas." And so on, it is extensively taught. Some say that, as it is said in the Middle Way and so on, the true nature of selflessness is like the emptiness of space, so the sutras that teach the essence are provisional. If it were not so, it would be no different from the permanent self of the Tirthikas. If that is said, this is the last Dharma wheel that determines the ultimate meaning of the three turnings of the Dharma wheel spoken by the Buddha. If emptiness alone is the ultimate meaning, how can the three wheels be established as different? The emptiness spoken of in the Middle Way and so on is intended to negate the self-grasping of beginners. As it is said in the Great Nirvana Sutra, with the example of a woman who feeds her child by smearing bitter juice on her nipples: "Son of good family, the Tathagata is also like that. In order to liberate all sentient beings, he shows the diligence of all sentient beings in selflessness. Because of that diligence, there is no thought of self, and one attains Nirvana. This is also in order to eliminate the evil view of nihilism in the world, in order to show the Dharma that transcends nihilism in the world. Furthermore, in order to show that those who are nihilists in the world do not truly see the self, by practicing the Dharma of selflessness, one attains a pure body. Just as that woman smears bitter juice on her nipples for the sake of her child, so too is the Tathagata, practicing emptiness."
