Just as the great vase and the three, each having their needs and desires fulfilled, the way in which the complete and perfect Buddha arises, fulfilling all hopes and desires, is shown through the power of one's own mind's merit and wisdom, and the stability of samadhi. The great miracle of wonder and excellence is the mandala of body and wisdom. It relies on the samadhi of aimless means, and from the manifestation of the power of wisdom emptiness, such a mandala of body and wisdom arises from the vast expanse of the dharma realm. As it is taught: "Wonderful miracle, excellent dharma." Therefore, what is the cause of sentient beings' delusion? Is it delusion from having a basis for delusion, or delusion from not having a basis? If it is the former, then there should be no basis for delusion. It is like the appearance of hair falling from the sky in the eyes of an old woman who has eaten nettles, even though there is no hair falling. As it is said in "The Clear Light of Samaya": "As there is no darkness in the center of the sun." Because the ground, the nature of which is completely pure, is free from the extremes of existence and non-existence, one is deluded because one does not recognize one's own face. As it is said in "Heart Drop": "The mind essence of all six realms of beings is a wish-fulfilling jewel. From the appearance of whatever is thought, there is no addition or subtraction of whether there is a basis for delusion or not." If it is the latter, then, Ema! As it is said in the Essence of the Sugata: "Transformed by the karma of one's own thoughts." For example, the medicine camphor is medicine for those with fever, and it becomes poison for those with wind disease. As it is said in "Heart Drop": "Two meanings, existence and non-existence, without distinction, because its cause and condition are its own nature, like the benefit and harm of medicine, all without exception arise from one cause, different distinctions appear separately." As it is said in the Extensive One: "Ignorance itself need not be abandoned, wisdom need not be cultivated." Thus, without hatred, self-arisen wisdom will not be clear; without attachment, the wisdom of bliss will not arise in the continuum; without delusion, the mind will not abide in the state of non-conceptuality; without pride, one will not take the nature of reality as one's own; without jealousy, equality will not be harmonized.
