Because it contradicts statements such as "Extinguishing desire is tranquility, extinguishing hatred is subduing, extinguishing ignorance is wisdom, extinguishing stinginess is generosity, extinguishing jealousy is joy, extinguishing arrogance is humility, extinguishing distraction is meditation, extinguishing wrong views is right view, extinguishing negligence is diligence, extinguishing hesitation is firmness, extinguishing disbelief is faith, extinguishing laziness is courage, extinguishing forgetfulness is mindfulness, extinguishing drowsiness is clarity, extinguishing agitation is stillness, extinguishing shamelessness is shame, extinguishing lack of shame is embarrassment, extinguishing anger is tranquility, extinguishing harm is compassion, extinguishing envy is joy, extinguishing greed is giving, extinguishing strife is harmony, extinguishing roughness is gentleness, extinguishing pride is humility, extinguishing flattery is uprightness, extinguishing deception is honesty, extinguishing hypocrisy is sincerity, extinguishing cunning is loyalty, extinguishing evil is goodness, extinguishing cruelty is kindness, extinguishing tyranny is might, extinguishing ferocity is wrath." Furthermore, if one quibbles by saying, "It possesses marks but is not a form body," then the teacher, the enjoyment body, spoken of in the first chapter, should not be a body blazing with marks and examples, such as the wheel marks on your hands and feet and the turtle-shaped feet, as described, because you are not a form body. If you accept this, it is too extreme, because the Ornament of the Sutras states, "The first body possesses powers and so forth, and is endowed with qualities free from attachment. The second possesses the marks of a great person, and is endowed with qualities of maturation." This is because it contradicts this statement. Furthermore, the self-appearing body of the Buddha should be within the sight of those to be tamed, because the teacher and retinue of the first chapter's discussion of the enjoyment body appear to the bodhisattvas on the borderlands. This is because it says in this very text, "In the supreme and unsurpassed abode of Akanishta, the body appears as the form of Vairochana, to the retinues of bodhisattvas, likewise the supreme speech is unspoken, but the body shows the aspects of all dharmas." If you accept this, then the self-appearing body of the Buddha should not be within the sight of those to be tamed, because it is the realm of experience of the Buddhas alone. This is because the Arrayed Tree Sutra states, "How the various marks, those are the ways of children, those who lack all marks, the Buddhas do not see." If that is the case, then if sentient beings do not see the self-appearing Buddha with marks, Then there will be the fault that the Buddha does not see sentient beings, and the fault that sentient beings do not see the Buddha, if you think so. The first fault does not exist, because the victorious ones see sentient beings by making them the object of three connections, namely, dharma and dharmata are connected by nature, realm and possessor of realm are connected as non-different, and karma and compassion are connected by complete holding, therefore they are held by the connection of compassion. Because this very text says, "Because of the connection of great compassion, all six realms and times appear without exception." The second fault does not exist, because sentient beings do not see the real Buddha, because sentient beings have not made the Buddha the object of connection, therefore they do not see as it really is, but depending on the severity of their karma and afflictions.

Appearances correspond to individual karmic predispositions and inclinations. As it is said, "Although suchness is not fabricated, it appears differently due to the power of karma," and "Corresponding wisdom is self-appearing." Therefore. Then, why can't ordinary animals and pretas, who are far inferior in merit to humans, see the Buddhas in the same way that humans see things, even though they don't share the same realm of experience? Why can't they see them even if they don't have the same wisdom as the Buddhas? The answer is that such examples are not analogous. Although those beings see the form of a human, they do not truly see the human because they do not experience its characteristics. The wisdom of the Buddha is an inconceivable state, and even pure beings cannot make it their object. As the Uttaratantra Shastra says, "The Buddha-dhatu, the Buddha's enlightenment, the Buddha's activities, and the Buddha's wisdom are not objects of thought even for pure beings." And as it says in the Bodhisattvacaryāvatāra, "Even the noble ones with pure eyes of wisdom do not see all things completely." Therefore. The second question is, if it is said to be the appearance to be tamed, then the appearances of the teacher's retinue in the first chapter, these phenomena, are not the ultimate result of the complete purification of the aggregates, elements, and sense bases of one person into the forty-two Buddhas, because it must be admitted that the ultimate result is devoid of the elaboration of faces, hand gestures, and signs that cannot be grasped by the mind. As the common scripture says, "Ultimate truth is not the object of mind, mind is said to be conventional truth." If you accept that, then these phenomena are the ultimate result, because there is no more ultimate result to be established here. As it says in this very text, "The result is the fully accomplished Buddha, a collection of forty-two wonderful names." And as it says in the Extensive Sutra, "The condensed meaning is forty-two, to speak of a meaning beyond that, that is not the pure path, what is thought by one's own mind is delusion." Therefore. Also, in response to the previous non-pervasion. If you say that these forty-two are the ultimate result, then these phenomena are the form seen by those to be tamed, because it is the form that appears to the bodhisattvas on the borderlands. Accept.
