And because of these being assembled. It is said that understanding the meaning of the beginning and end of the tantra by seeing the name is the way the previous retinue understood it, because the name was established based on seeing the meaning. For example, when the Secret Lord understood the meaning of his own tantra and explained it to the retinue, it was called "Essence of Secrets" because the name was established based on seeing the meaning. For the previous ones, the name contained all the words and meanings completely, and it was not contradictory to understand it in an instant. As it is said in the Ocean: "Eliminating all obscurations, for those to be tamed, he makes them appear in an instant." Therefore. Later, understanding the meaning based on the name is understood there as merely the meeting of the symbols of the three: ground, path, and result. Because the name is only able to represent the meaning, it is a name. For example, when saying "vase," one only understands it as something that can fulfill the purpose of a bulging belly, a shrinking bottom, and holding water. However, special qualities such as a golden vase are not fully understood. Third, as it is said in the Heart Drop: "What is initially indicated has three names." And as it is said in the Main Text: "It is known as the three: supreme name, conventional name." Therefore, this tantra is known as the three names of tantra, agama, and upadesha. At the beginning of the book, without mentioning the names of tantra and agama, but only mentioning the name of upadesha, some say that there is no reason for this. The answer to this is that in Mahayoga, there are also three internal divisions of tantra, agama, and upadesha, or three tantras of father, mother, and non-dual. This tantra is the Anuyoga of Maha, which is the tantra that shows the non-duality of skillful means and wisdom, and because of this key point, the name of upadesha is mentioned. Fourth, some say that this tantra was not translated from India, because Sanskrit is not mentioned at the beginning. The answer to this is divided into two: refuting others' answers and establishing one's own answer. First, some say: "If there is no Sanskrit at all, it should not be translated into Tibetan, therefore, the word 'Tibetan' implicitly implies that there is Sanskrit." It is unreasonable to say this, because Tibetan can also be combined with languages such as Chinese, so it cannot be determined to be Indian, and Sanskrit can also be implicitly added to treatises composed in Tibet, so there will be faults such as becoming Indian. Second, establishing one's own answer: here there is no Sanskrit, therefore the statement that without Sanskrit it cannot become Tibetan is not established.

Do. Many treatises composed in Tibet also have Chinese at the beginning. However, that does not make them Indian. Furthermore, does it become Tibetan simply because the Indian language is not mentioned at the beginning? Or does it become Tibetan if neither language is mentioned? If it is like the first case, then those teachings translated from China become Tibetan, because the Indian language is not mentioned at the beginning. If it is like the second case, then those Indian manuscripts become Tibetan, because neither language is mentioned at the beginning. Furthermore, this great king of tantras itself, you are free from the fault of becoming Tibetan, because you have been widely explained by the well-known Indian paṇḍitas, and in the commentary on the Guhyasamāja by Viśvamitra, many quotations from this tantra are cited. Later, from the Chinese versions that were found, Tharlo Nyima Gyaltsen and Gö Lotsāwa Zhönnu Pal and other great translators who had perfected the entirety of the Buddha's teachings also made translations. In explaining the meaning of the tantra "Name Fulfilled," there is the homage at the beginning in order not to infringe upon the authority of the teacher, and there is the determination of the meaning of the text in order to easily understand the meaning of the teachings. The first part is: Homage to the Bhagavan Glorious Samantabhadra. This has three aspects: the meaning of the words, the meaning of the phrases, and the refutation of objections. The first aspect is: If connected with the four modes of action, who pays homage? It is the compiler, Vajrapāṇi. To whom? To the teacher of the tantra, the Bhagavan Glorious Samantabhadra. At what time? It is when the compiler first compiled it as the mind-continuum in Akanishtha, and then compiled it into words in the human realm. How is homage paid? It is through the three types of homage: superior, measuring with view; intermediate, familiarizing with meditation; and inferior, with devotion and respect. Because this is the homage of the compiler, it is the first. Second, if the meaning of the phrases is explained in detail, as Vimala said, in the commentary: In the sphere of equality, the four māras are naturally subdued. Possessing the nature of mudrā, perfectly endowed with the two accumulations. Transcending the extremes of existence and non-existence, it is the glory of all self and others. All is naturally realized, possessing excellent compassion. Samantabhadra is the god of gods, you are inseparable from this. With realization and respect, I pay homage to you. If the meaning of what was said is summarized into the meaning of the words, then the teacher Samantabhadra,
