Because of this. Therefore, the tenet of this vehicle is that the basic nature itself is the wisdom of the Dharmadhatu, which is originally pure, and there is no need to abandon or cultivate it, because it has transcended bondage and liberation. Second, establishing one's own system: the nature of the five aggregates of thoughts is originally the five such lineages, especially manifesting the fruit of the five Buddhas of pure lineage, thereby achieving ultimate perfection. For such thoughts, the mind masters autonomy with the wisdom of self-awareness, and attains the uncontaminated Dharma, enjoying great bliss, hence it is called the King. Why does this treatise not start with the names of the deities, but with the names of thoughts? Because even in the impure state of samsara, the collection of thoughts is naturally pure, complete as the mandala of body and wisdom, not only is this stated in the tantric tantras, but also in the profound sutras of definitive meaning. For example, the Avatamsaka Sutra says: "Form, feeling, thought, consciousness, and action are the same. Countless Tathagatas, they become great heroes." Therefore, in terms of the nature of self-knowing, thoughts and deities are equal in appearance, equal in emptiness, and equal without good or bad. Moreover, in this unique vehicle, practitioners should recognize that deities and thoughts are inseparable. When the fruit is ultimately perfected, the thoughts themselves do not need to be abandoned or transformed, but spontaneously appear as the mandala of the deities, hence this is said. So, what is the reason why thoughts appear as deities? There are two situations: from the perspective of the existence of external objects, and from the perspective of the internal objects of knowledge. First, the nature of thoughts appearing as deities is originally so, it is only when encountering the conditions of the path that the possibility of deities appearing does not cease. For example, gold powder condensed by mercury looks like a mercury block, but if it encounters the condition of fire, it will turn into gold, and if it does not encounter it, it will not change. Similarly, the latter part of the Mayajala Tantra of Discriminating Networks says: "Please tell me, O Bhagavan, from what kind of cause do these yogis practice?" The Bhagavan replied: "They practice from the aggregates, elements, sources, great elements, and so on."

Question: So, does it mean that the appearance of the result can also arise from the cause? What do you say? Answer: Son of good family, it is just so. The wisdom of the result appears from the cause. Why is that? Because the aggregates, etc., appear as the forty hand seals of illusion, and in the ultimate sense, they appear as the single taste of the ultimate. Thus it is said. Question: O Blessed One, as the Blessed One said, because that is not that, it is also contradictory to what is to be attained. Answer: What do you think? For example, just as there is a cause for the arising of a result that has not met with the connection of conditions, but there is no power to manifest it, so too, although there is a cause for enlightenment, there is no power to produce the result because it has not met with the condition of samadhi. Therefore, it should be understood in this way. Because it is said that way. Secondly, in terms of inner knowable objects, it is the nature of conceptualization that appears as deities. Because this and that are similar in Dharma, consciousness is the nature of mind, form is the nature of body, feeling is the basis for regarding objects as enjoyment, so it is the nature of qualities, perception is the nature of grasping at characteristics, and external and internal phenomena are the expression of the karma of applying terms. Action is the nature of the karma of doing things. As it is said in other tantras: Form is Vairochana, feeling is Ratnasambhava, perception is Amitabha, action is Amoghasiddhi, and consciousness is Akshobhya. Furthermore, someone says: From the later tantra: The five aggregates, such as morality, are different for the undefiled ones. So, is it also considered that the five undefiled aggregates of the transformed five aggregates of appropriation are similar in Dharma? Yes, the aggregate of consciousness transformed into the wisdom of liberation is the nature of mind. Similarly, the aggregate of form transformed into the aggregate of morality is the stainless body, the aggregate of feeling transformed into samadhi is the quality that has become the basis of qualities, and the aggregate of perception transformed into wisdom is said to be the basis of the Dharma of scripture and realization. The aggregate of action transformed into liberation is activity.
