A clear mind, non-distraction is indeed samādhi. Therefore, the state of mind being one-pointed, unwavering from the specific object of meditation. The etymology is, from the sound of the Sanskrit word samādhi, meaning equal wisdom, by the meaning of grasping with one-pointedness of mind, hence it is samādhi. In terms of classification, in the later Kashmiri translation it says, "The combination of the form of deities, such as the moon vajra and so on in sequence, is called the generation stage. The yoga of self-accomplishment is called the completion stage." That is, the two stages of generation and completion. First, it also says, "Relying on the generation stage, the place of birth, with distinctions such as womb-born, and so on, are also four types." Therefore, there are four ways of practicing by purifying or conforming to the habitual tendencies of the four places of birth, or like the stages of the path, conforming to the two types of womb-born and miraculously born, there are gradual and sudden ways. In the completion stage, there is the non-conceptual samādhi that is summarized by the two ways of gradual and sudden, relying on the upper and lower doors of the means path, and the yoga of the union of the liberation path. Ninth, offering also has three aspects, the essence of which is, in the Heart Drop it says, "The agent, the object, and the action are combined, becoming an object of joy and satisfaction." Therefore, to those who become the object of offering, with respect and the intention of offering, through the three doors and the means of arrangement, one also makes them happy. The etymology is, from the sound of the Sanskrit word pūjā, meaning to produce beforehand, and to repeatedly produce joy, by the meaning of respect, arranging in the place, hence it is offering. In terms of classification, in general there are worldly and transcendental offerings, specifically, there are the outer five offerings, the inner offering of samaya substances and nectar, the secret offering of profound union and liberation, or the fourteen offerings of peaceful and wrathful deities, and so on. Tenth, mantra and mudra also have three aspects, the essence of which is, in the Heart Drop it says, "Letters combined, the four accomplishments, whoever is powerful and mature, not deviating from the nature of the four perfections, whatever appears to whom, that is the essence." Therefore, the letters of skillful means and wisdom combined, becoming powerful through blessing, is the essence of mantra, and the appearance of the deity's form that does not deviate from the four perfections of clear awareness mudra, is the essence of mudra. The etymology is, from the sound of the Sanskrit word mantra, quickly protecting the mind and awareness with bliss, hence it is mantra, and from the sound of the Sanskrit word mudrā,

Or like planting seeds on the ground as a symbol, because it is difficult to surpass what has been planted, so from the meaning of appearance, it is a mudra. Classification: Mantras are generally divided into three types: secret mantras, vidya mantras, and dharani mantras. Specifically, as mantras that are the gateways to these, the "Clear Illumination" says: "Root generation and karma mantras," therefore, the non-erroneous cause is the root, generation is the condition, and recitation is the karma mantras. Mudras are also generally divided into three stages: from the beginning, the collection of awareness exists in the mandala of the deity, awareness, and manifestation, namely the three mudras of nature, view, and fruit. Specifically, if especially from the perspective of samadhi, the "Clear Illumination" says: "Vow, action, and dharma, and the body itself are the four great mudras." Fourth, the necessary connection of the tantra is, as the "Heart Drop" says: "The connection of speech, necessity is also necessity, cause, condition, and branch become four." Therefore, the self-nature tantra to be expressed is what is to be spoken. In order to understand it, the letter tantra that expresses it is what is to be said. Relying on what is said, knowing the meaning of what is to be expressed is the necessity. Like this, through practicing the meaning of what is known, obtaining common accomplishments is the subtle ultimate necessity; manifesting the union of learning and non-learning, the supreme accomplishment of the great mudra, is the supreme ultimate necessity. Moreover, what is to be said and what can be said are what is to be known and what can know; what can be said and necessity are the means from which means arise; necessity and ultimate necessity are that from which that arises; ultimate necessity and what is to be said are connected by the essence of one taste. Why is it called the necessary connection of the tantra? Because it establishes the connection that, in order to achieve the ultimate fruit to be obtained, it will not arise without it. Classification: There are two types of necessary connections, one that emphasizes the path of liberation and one that emphasizes the path of means, here the latter is abandoned. Fifth, the instruction and entrustment is, in order to completely not decline and protect the essence of the teachings, instructing and entrusting the retinue. Why is it called instruction and entrustment? Because it is both instructing not to change from the self-nature tantra, and also entrusting to protect the path tantra so that it does not disappear. There are two classifications, instruc
