ད་གླགས་མེད་ཅིང་། གོས་དང་བྲལ་བས་ཚད་པས་འཚིག་པ་དང་། གྲང་བས་སྦྲེབས་པ་དང་། སོས་ཀ་ཟླ་བས་ཀྱང་འཚིག་ཅིང་། དགུན་ཉི་མས་ཀྱང་གྲང་བར་བྱེད་པ་དང་། དབྱར་དུས་སྤྲིན་ཡང་མེ་ཆར་དུ་འབབ་པ་དང་། རྟག་ཏུ་འཚོལ་འགྲོས་ཀྱིས་ངལ་ཞིང་ཆད་པ་དང་། ཉམ་ཞན་པས་རུས་ཚིག་འཁྲོགས་ཏེ་མེ་འབར་བ་དང་། ཕན་ཚུན་དགྲར་གྱུར་པས་འཆིང་པ་དང་། བརྡེག་པ་དང་། གསོད་པའི་འཇིགས་པ་དང་། གཏད་ས་མེད་པར་འཇིགས་སྐྲག་ཆེན་པོས་འབྲོས་པ་སོགས་སྡུག་བསྔལ་དོས་དྲག་ཅིང་ཡུན་རིང་པོར་མྱང་དགོས་པའོ། །ཚེ་ཚད་ཀྱི་ཁྱད་པར་མཛོད་ལས། ཟླ་བ་ཉིན་ཞག་གིས་ལྔ་བརྒྱ། །ཞེས་པས་མིའི་ཟླ་བ་གཅིག་ལ་ཞག་གཅིག་ཏུ་བྱས་པའི་རང་ལོ་ལྔ་བརྒྱ་དང་། བཤེས་སྤྲིངས་ལས། ལྔ་སྟོང་དག་དང་ཁྲིར་ཡང་འཆི་མི་འགྱུར། །ཞེས་གསུངས་པས། ཡི་དྭགས་ལ་ལའི་ཚེ་ཚད་ལོ་ལྔ་སྟོང་དང་ཁ་ཅིག་གི་ལོ་ཁྲི་ཡིན་པར་བཤད་དོ། །དེ་ལྟ་བུའི་སྡུག་བསྔལ་གྱི་རྒྱུ་ནི་སེར་སྣ་འཇུར་གེགས་སོགས་ཡིན་པས་བསྒྲིམས་ཏེ་བག་ཡོད་པར་བྱའོ། །གསུམ་པ་དུད་འགྲོའི་སྡུག་བསྔལ་བསམ་པ་ནི། བྱིངས་དང་ཁ་འཐོར་བ་གཉིས། བྱིངས་ན་གནས་པ་རྒྱ་མཚོ་ཆེན་པོ་ན་ཡོད། སྐྱོབ་པའི་རྟེན་དང་གནས་མེད་པས་རླབས་ཀྱིས་བདས་ཏེ་ངེས་མེད་དུ་འཁྱམས། ཕན་ཚུན་གཅིག་ལ་གཅིག་ཟ་སྟེ། ཆེ་བས་ཆུང་བ་མིད་པ་དང་། ཆུང་བས་ཆེ་བ་ལུས་ཕུག་སྟེ་ཟ་བ་དང་། ཀླུ་རྣམས་ནི་བྱེ་ཚན་གྱིས་ཉིན་རེ་བཞིན་བསྲེག་ཅིང་མཁའ་ལྡིང་གིས་ཟ་བ་སོགས་རྟག་ཏུ་དགྲ་བྱུང་གིས་དོགས་པའི་འཇིགས་སྐྲག་གི་སྡུག་བསྔལ་བཟོད་ཐབས་མེད། ཁ་འཐོར་ལྷ་དང་མིའི་ཡུལ་ན་ཡོད་པ་འདི་རྣམས་ཡིན། མིས་བདག་ཏུ་མ་བཟུང་བ་རྣམས་ནི་དགྲ་བྱུང་གིས་དོགས་པའི་འཇིགས་སྐྲག་གིས་རྟག་ཏུ་མནར་བའི་སེམས་ལ་བདེ་བ་མེད་ཅིང་ག །ཅན་གཟན་གྱིས་ཟ་བ་དང་། མི་རྣམས་ཀྱི་དབང་མེད་པར་གསོད་པ་དང་། བདག་ཏུ་བཟུང་བ་རྣམས་ཀྱང་སྤུ་འབྱིད་པ་དང་། སྣ་འབིགས་པ་དང་། བརྡེག་ཅིང་བསྐུལ་བ་དང་། ཁུར་ལྕི་བས་མནར་བ་དང་། ཤ་དང་ཁྲག་དང་པགས་པ་དང་རུས་པའི་ཕྱིར་གསོད་ པ་དང་། གླེན་ཅིང་གཏི་མུག་པས་བླང་དོར་མི་ཤེས་པས་འཐོམས་ཏེ་སྡུག་བསྔལ་བ་དང་། གཞན་ཡང་བཀྲེས་སྐོམ་ཚ་གྲང་ངལ་དུབ་སོགས་དམྱལ་བ་དང་ཡི་དྭགས་ཀྱི་སྡུག་བསྔལ་འདྲ་རུང་དུ་ཡོད་པའོ། །བཤེས་སྤྲིངས་ལས། དུད་འགྲོའི་སྐྱེ་གནས་ན་ཡང་གསོད་པ་དང་། །བཅིང་དང་བརྡེག་སོགས་སྡུག་བསྔལ་སྣ་ཚོགས་མྱོང་། །ཞི་འགྱུར་དགེ་བ་སྤངས་པ་རྣམས་ལ་ནི། །གཅིག་ལ་གཅིག་ཟ་ཤིན་ཏུ་མི་བཟད་འབྱུ

而且没有空隙，因为没有衣服，被热灼烧，被冷冻僵，夏天也被月亮灼烧，冬天也被太阳冻僵，夏天云也下火雨，总是为了寻找食物而疲劳不堪，因为虚弱，骨瘦如柴，火在燃烧，互相变成仇敌，所以有束缚、殴打、杀害的恐惧，无依无靠，在极度恐惧中逃跑等等，必须忍受极其痛苦且漫长的时间。 关于寿命的差别，《宝藏论》中说：“以月为单位，五百个昼夜。”意思是将人一个月算作一夜，这样算来是五百岁。 《亲友书》中说：“五千及至万，亦不免于死。”因此说，有些饿鬼的寿命是五千年，有些是一万年。 像这样的痛苦的原因是吝啬、阻碍等等，所以要谨慎小心。 第三，思维旁生的痛苦：分为总体和分散两种。 总体上，存在于大海之中。 因为没有救护的依靠和处所，被波浪驱赶，无定向地漂流。 互相吞食，大的吞小的，小的钻入大的身体里吃。 龙族每天都被沙砾灼烧，被迦楼罗吞食等等，总是担心仇敌出现，忍受着无法忍受的恐惧痛苦。 分散的，存在于天人和人类的地方，就是这些。 没有被人占有的那些，因为担心仇敌出现，总是被恐惧折磨，心中没有安乐。 被野兽吃掉，被人们不由自主地杀害。 被占有的那些，也被拔毛、穿鼻、殴打驱赶、被重物压迫，为了肉、血、皮、骨而被杀害。 而且因为愚蠢和痴迷，不明白取舍，所以迷惑而痛苦。 此外，还有饥渴、寒热、疲劳等等，与地狱和饿鬼的痛苦相似。 《亲友书》中说：“旁生之生处，亦有杀害等，束缚及殴打，种种苦皆受。 舍弃寂灭善，彼等诸众生，互相啖食苦，极难忍受生。”

Moreover, there is no respite; without clothes, they are scorched by heat and frozen by cold. Even the summer moon scorches, and the winter sun freezes. In summer, even the clouds rain fire. They are always exhausted and worn out from searching for food. Because of weakness, their bones become brittle and fire blazes. They become enemies to each other, so there is the fear of being bound, beaten, and killed. Without refuge, they flee in great terror, and so on. They must endure intense suffering for a long time. Regarding the differences in lifespan, the Treasury states, "Five hundred months and days." This means that one human month is counted as one night, making it five hundred years. The Suhrllekha states, "Five thousand and even ten thousand will not escape death." Thus, it is said that the lifespan of some pretas is five thousand years, and some are ten thousand years. The cause of such suffering is stinginess, obstruction, and so on, so one must be diligent and careful. Third, contemplating the suffering of animals: There are two types: general and scattered. The general ones reside in the great ocean. Without a refuge or place of protection, they are driven by the waves and wander aimlessly. They devour each other, the large swallowing the small, and the small burrowing into the bodies of the large to eat. The nagas are burned daily by gravel and eaten by garudas, and so on. They constantly fear the appearance of enemies and endure unbearable suffering of terror. The scattered ones are those that exist in the realms of gods and humans. Those not possessed by humans have no peace of mind, constantly tormented by the fear of enemies appearing. They are eaten by wild animals and killed involuntarily by humans. Those who are possessed are plucked of their wool, have their noses pierced, are beaten and driven, are tormented by heavy loads, and are killed for their meat, blood, skin, and bones. Moreover, because of foolishness and delusion, they do not understand what to accept and reject, so they are confused and suffer. Furthermore, there is hunger, thirst, heat, cold, fatigue, and so on, similar to the suffering of hells and pretas. The Suhrllekha states, "In the animal realm, there is killing, binding, beating, and various sufferings. Those who have abandoned the virtues of peace, these beings suffer the unbearable birth of eating each other."
