O! Then what is the siddhi to be accomplished? There are two kinds: common and supreme siddhis. The first is divided into small, medium, and large. The small one is the eight great activities, as stated in the Hevajra: 'Subduing, manifesting, destroying the enemy's forces, expelling, killing, summoning, pacifying, and increasing will be truly accomplished.' The medium one is the eight attainments, as stated in the Guhya: 'Why is it not difficult for him? Eye medicine and swift feet, sword and accomplishment in the earth, pills and the very sky-faring, invisibility and taking essence, why does the Vajra-holder quickly obtain what is pleasingly done?' The large one is the eight qualities of power, as it is said: 'Small and large in form, light and heavy, pervasive and truly obtained, extremely clear and steadfast, powerful and able to transform at will.' These are called common siddhis, as stated in the Compendium: 'Eye medicine and other siddhis are said to be for ordinary people.' Because even outsiders have them, and merely through the generation stage, one can obtain worldly siddhis, even up to the ultimate state of Akanistha. Furthermore, merely through the power of mantra or samadhi, one can change the taste of alcohol, pacify poison, and so on. Before obtaining warmth, one is called a beginner, and one can benefit others in appropriate ways through small actions. After gaining some stability in the generation stage and obtaining the warmth that enables one to bless objects with mantras, one achieves accomplishment by practicing the Vidyadhara of objects such as swords. Through that activity, one wanders in the realms of gods and humans, appearing visibly, and benefits beings through mantra. With a stable generation stage, relying on the action mudra, which is the proximate cause of conduct, one obtains the eight qualities of lightness and ease, equal in fortune to the desire gods, which is the Vidyadhara of Desire. Relying on the wisdom mudra, one transforms the coarse human body or the body of the Vidyadhara of Desire into the abode of the Vidyadhara of Form, depending on the sharpness or dullness of the faculties. The Vidyadhara of Desire comes among people but is not seen, while the Vidyadhara of Form does not come, but benefits sentient beings through many emanations.

It accomplishes benefits, and one also enters the completion stage through that support, thereby achieving supreme siddhi. Therefore, even if the realization of the completion stage has not arisen, if the generation stage is stable, one can proceed on the path of accumulation; even if one has not practiced the generation stage, one can still proceed on the path of accumulation and the middle heat stage through the completion stage. However, in order to obtain great heat, it is important to practice the union of the two stages, so it is thought. Secondly, as it is said in the Wish-Fulfilling Treasury: "When the winds and minds of the four wheels are workable, the qualities of the four paths will gradually appear. From the unraveling of the knots of the central channel, two by two, the qualities of the ten bhumis will appear from within." Thus, when the winds and minds of the four wheels, such as the navel emanation wheel, are workable, the qualities of the four paths of accumulation, application, seeing, and meditation will appear. There are twenty-one knots of ro and rkyang in the central channel. When two knots are untied, the qualities of each of the ten bhumis will appear. When the last knot is untied, it is believed that the Buddha-bhumi will be achieved. In the Kalachakra, each of the one hundred and eighteen karma winds ceases, and that many unchanging moments are manifested. When 21,600 winds cease, all the channels are liberated, and when the bindu, which possesses all kinds of excellence, is equal to space, it is said that one will become the great sovereign of the twelfth bhumi. The nature of the ten bhumis described in this way is mostly considered by scholars to be the nature of the bhumis of the noble ones. Some great scholars also believe that in order to achieve the wisdom body of a bodhisattva who has received empowerment and has an equal share, it is necessary to have stopped the twelve time unions before that, so it is not the ten bhumis of the noble path. So what is it? It is the 21,600 moments of unchanging wisdom, the clear light of the fourth stage of the five stages, and the samadhi ground of the six-branch yoga. From that, the manifestation of the noble path is the union or the wisdom body, which is called Buddha. In any case, the way to progress on the path in stages is that wisdom comes, and the most victorious wisdom, and finally, by practicing it, all views are achieved without obstruction, and by obtaining the samadhi of the Dharma stream, (one achieves) the emanation body of the Buddha.
