Confessing and understanding the remaining transgressions before the wise. Eighth, the transgression of speaking truthfully about the superior human Dharma: established for five hundred monks of the fisherman caste. A monk who has attained the qualities of the superior human Dharma, without any particular need for someone who has not yet fully taken the full ordination, says that he has attained it, and it is known by the other party. Ninth, acting out of favoritism, that is, the transgression of slander: established for a friend and Salaja. For a monk who is doing Sangha affairs, being unable to bear seeing a small amount of suitable and qualified items other than food being given, he mocks, saying that he is giving the Sangha's property to individuals out of favoritism, and it is known by the other party. Tenth, the transgression of contempt: such as during the recitation, when reciting the Pratimoksha Sutra, saying what is the use of reciting these subtle and subtle bases of training, saying such words of contempt, and it is known by others. The second group, the group of seeds: cutting off seeds and growth. Ridiculing for oneself, ordering to strike the ear. When discussing transgressions, answering others without hearing clearly. Spreading out and leaving without tidying up the bed and cushion. Expelling monks, setting obstacles, and suppressing afterwards. Digging holes in bed legs, using water with living creatures. Planting in the grass, building a two-story monastery. Intentionally done. As such, among the ten, first, the transgression of destroying seeds and growth: this and the tenth are established for the group of six monks. A monk, for barley and other seeds and seedlings and any growth, belonging to his own property, undamaged, unprocessed, bound by his own grass, etc., having these conditions, himself damages it or has others do it, in either case, when damaged, each tree, each blade of grass, each seed, will become a transgression of destroying them. For picking ripe sea buckthorn and other fruits, separating them from the tree, etc., it is a misdeed. Here, processing means: touching fruits, etc. with fire, creating wounds with swords, nails, parrots, etc. And, when enjoying the other three medicines other than seasonal medicine in the afternoon, sprinkling cold water makes it edible. Second, the transgression of ridicule: established for friends and Salaja, etc.

Regarding the admonishments of the Sangha, if a Bhikshu who is acting in accordance with the Dharma or is in the process of acting in accordance with the Dharma, and who is not himself creating a bad reputation, is ridiculed, either directly or indirectly, by saying things like, "This person is creating a bad reputation in my name," or "Some people do things like this," as long as the ridicule is understood. From the enumeration, it is the main action. That is to say, when the Sangha, through the Karma ritual, includes the ridiculer in the list of those with a bad reputation, it becomes the main action. Third, the offense of making a loud noise of admonishment: This offense and the ninth offense were established in the Sangha of Kaushambi. When a Bhikshu commits an offense, and in order to correct his mistake, his offense is discussed, or when a lawful admonishment or question is made, if he pretends not to hear it, or with a contemptuous attitude, does not answer the question, but instead gives other, incorrect answers, as long as the other party understands it. Fourth, the offense of the seat, i.e., the dwelling place: Established in Shravasti for many Bhikshus. After using the Sangha's beds, small beds, and other dwelling places, if one does not tidy up oneself, nor entrust it to others, but discards it in a place without cover, causing damage, or even if it is not damaged, leaves after exceeding forty-nine cubits (approximately 73.35 meters) from the vicinity of the dwelling place. Fifth, the offense of the mat: Established for two Bhikshus who came from the South. In the Sangha's monastery, if one lays down mats, such as grass mats, in a place where there is a danger of living beings breeding, and then, either oneself or through someone else, discards them without tidying up, causing damage such as the breeding of living beings, or even if it is not damaged, leaves after exceeding the nearby distance. Sixth, the offense of expulsion: This offense and the next offense were both established in Champa. From the Sangha's monastery, because of anger, one expels another Bhikshu, or causes someone to expel him, causing him to leave. Seventh, the offense of suppressing: In the Sangha's monastery, with the intention of harming a Bhikshu who entered earlier, one commits an offense with body or speech, thereby suppressing the other party. Eighth, the offense of damaging the root: Established in Shravasti for Ananda. On the roof of the Sangha's monastery, one inserts the sharp legs of a dwelling place's bed into a soft place, causing a hole to appear. Ninth, the offense of sowing: Knowingly sowing and using water and plants, etc., that contain living beings.
