Therefore, it is obtained by requesting through expressing memory. Even if someone says that these two situations require obtaining items that exceed the limits of one's own dedication. However, the direct teaching of the Sutra clearly shows that there is no time to offer, and accepting it beforehand is itself a fault. Tenth, the rejection of accepting entrustment: the donor, the messenger, the attendant, i.e., three laypeople. The donor entrusts something that is not suitable for the value of clothing, such as gold and silver, and the messenger offers it to the bhikkhu. When refusing to accept it, the messenger entrusts the matter to the bhikkhu's own attendant, asking him to prepare the clothing. If the clothing is not completed on time, the bhikkhu can personally urge the attendant three times. If it is still not completed, one can silently sit where he can see him three times to request it, and there is no fault in doing so. If one does more than that and obtains the clothing, it will constitute a transgression. Second set of ten: a cushion made with silk cotton lining, laying a cushion only with black wool in a scarce place, black wool accounting for two parts of the cushion, not replacing the new cushion within six years, and a standard cushion. Even if there is a cushion, making black wool again, carrying it three yojanas on the road after finding it. Letting bhikkhunis wash and grind wool, accepting gold and silver, engaging in trade loans, having obvious signs, and specializing in trade. As mentioned above, among the ten, the five transgressions regarding cushions are established as grave offenses for bhikkhus. Among them, first, valuable items such as silk cotton, etc.; second, where black wool is scarce, only using black wool; third, black wool exceeding two parts of the cushion. Like this, from these three materials, making a new lined cushion oneself or entrusting it to others. Merely unfolding these constitutes the respective transgressions. Fourth, the six-year transgression: making and completing a second lined cushion within six years without permission while already having an old cushion. Fifth, the span transgression: if there is already a standard old cushion, when making a new cushion, even if it is slightly smaller than the old one, it must be one span of the Sugata, i.e., half a cubit of a person. Using it without requesting. Sixth, the transgression of carrying wool on the road: from here to the place of trade, five or six rules are established for bhikkhus. Because of carrying heavy burdens of wool and other items with attachment, exceeding one yojana in one day. If it is a śrāmaṇera or the like, one can find a companion to carry the burden.
