Among the two explanations, the first is: From the perspective of the cause, the essence has the function of cause and effect and the function of entering, the state is like that of being universally present, the unchanging qualities are without difference, this is called the meaning of the ultimate realm. Thus it is said. The second has ten aspects, the first is the meaning of the object to be purified: As mentioned before, like precious space and water, the essence is always free from afflictions. Meaning. From the perspective of self-characterization, the Dharmakaya of the Tathagata is like a wish-fulfilling jewel, because it has the power to accomplish all wishes. Suchness is like space, because its nature is unchanging. Lineage is like water, because it is inseparable from the moisture of compassion that pervades all sentient beings. Also, from the perspective of common characteristics, the three meanings are represented by the three metaphors, because they are the same in being naturally pure. The second is the meaning of the purifying cause: As mentioned before, the superior wisdom that arises from faith in the Dharma, and arising from meditation and compassion. Meaning. The cause that purifies temporary defilements has four characteristics: faith in the Mahayana Dharma, and the wisdom that realizes selflessness that is superior to the Hinayana, and the immeasurable bliss of meditation, and the great compassion of love focused on sentient beings, the Bodhi arising from these must be the result of separation. The third is the meaning of the fruit to be attained: As mentioned before, the qualities of purity, self, bliss, and permanence are the result of the Paramita. Meaning. The result of the four, such as faith in the Dharma, has four characteristics: the Dharmakaya of the Tathagata is pure, is the true self, is bliss, is the Paramita of permanence, that is, it has the four ultimate qualities of Paramita. Among them, the meaning of the four, such as purity, is: The Dharmakaya, the result of separation, is the Paramita of purity, because the general nature is naturally pure from the beginning, and the special nature is the abandonment of temporary defilements and habits. This Dharmakaya is the Paramita of the true self, because it has eliminated the elaborations of self-grasping that are calculated by heretics and others, as well as the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas.

In order to pacify all the elaborations of clinging to selflessness, which are examined by analysis and so forth. Therefore, it is gone beyond bliss, because all suffering has ceased, so it is the aggregate of the nature of mind, and because all causes of arising have been abandoned, so it is its cause, namely the afflictions of the ground of ignorance and habitual tendencies, and all uncontaminated actions have also been exhausted. Therefore, it is gone beyond permanence, because the nature of samsara and nirvana is realized as equality, so the meaning of the two is not interrupted. Fourth, the meaning of the action of obtaining is: Previously it was said, "To be disgusted with suffering and to obtain peace, is the action of desire and aspiration." Its meaning is: The Dharma of taking and abandoning the suffering and happiness of samsara and nirvana is the meaning of the action of obtaining the result, that is, whoever has the action of being disgusted with the suffering of samsara, and the two who have the action of desiring and aspiring to the state of peaceful nirvana, is because it is the action of having the element. The Sutra of the Garland of Jewels says: "Bhagavan, if the essence of the Tathagata does not exist, then one will not be disgusted with suffering, and there will be no desire, pursuit, or aspiration for nirvana." Nagarjuna also said: "If there is an element, then by doing action, one will see the Sala forest, etc. If there is no element, even if one does action, it will only generate afflictions." Similarly, the Sutra of Angulimala also says: "Manjushri, people who desire gold and have discernment dig in rocks, why don't they dig in trees? Because the stone has the element of gold, so they dig, but the tree has no gold, so they don't dig. Similarly, Manjushri, for those who have the element, people with discernment think, 'I will become a Buddha,' and thus guard their morality and practice celibacy. Furthermore, Manjushri, if there is no element, then practicing celibacy will become meaningless." Fifth, the meaning of possessing a collection of qualities. The Uttaratantra says: "Like a great ocean, immeasurable, a place of inexhaustible qualities and jewels, possessing inseparable qualities, like the nature of a lamp flame." Its meaning is: The Dharmadhatu, possesses qualities, because in the vast container of faith, the immeasurable qualities and jewels of wisdom and samadhi and the water of compassion will not be exhausted.
