The Sarvastivadins were subdued by his power, and the teachings of the Great Vehicle's scriptural transmission flourished. Furthermore, his disciple Khenpo, the master Yeshe Nyingpo, was born in the land of Oḍiviśa. From a young age, he became proficient in all fields of knowledge. He went to Bengal to see the glorious Spa, took ordination and full ordination, and listened to the Dharma. He became a great Madhyamika who upheld the tradition of Legdenjhe. He also composed many treatises such as the Madhyamika Satyadva 論. He practiced the noble Avalokiteśvara for a long time, and eventually transformed him into the Wish-Fulfilling Wheel, saw his face, and attained clairvoyance. He recited many sutras from his heart and defeated the heretical opponents in debate. Furthermore, his Khenpo, the sun of the teachings of the snowy land, Acharya Bodhisattva, was born into the Sahora clan in the eastern part of Bengal. He took ordination and full ordination from the master Yeshe Nyingpo. His well-known name is Śāntarakṣita, also known as Śīlabhadra or Dharmaśānti-ghoṣa. He was well-versed in the common three pitakas, and especially in all the sutras of the Great Vehicle. He also knew all the fields of knowledge. In particular, he became a great Madhyamika who held the tradition of the higher self-system. He also composed treatises such as the Madhyamakālaṃkāra, and propagated the teachings in India for a long time. Then, King Trisong Detsen, an emanation, wanted to establish the Buddha's teachings in Tibet. Sangshi and Salnang went to China to fetch scriptures, and brought back about a thousand volumes of scriptures, but hid them for fear of Ma Xiang's punishment. Later, Repa Salnang was appointed as the Khangpon of Mangyul. There, he built two monasteries and demarcated the boundaries of the monasteries. He went to Nepal to see Khenpo Śāntarakṣita and asked him to generate bodhicitta. When he asked him to come to Tibet, he said, "Tibet is my field of taming, but because Trisong Detsen and you were not born, I have been waiting here for nine generations of Tibetan kings. Now that you two have grown up, it is time for us to establish the teachings in Tibet." Then, he went to Bodh Gaya to make a great offering to Mahabodhi (梵文:Mahābodhi). Then he returned to Ü-Tsang.

Then, the teachings of the Abbot were reported to the Emperor. The Emperor said, "Ma Zhang might have imposed a death sentence, so you should go quickly. I will secretly consult with Elder Ngos and devise a way to invite him." After that, Elder Ngos, with great deceit, buried Ma Zhang alive. After sending a messenger, Gyalsé Nang invited the Abbot, and he arrived in Lhasa. The Emperor said to the ministers, "See how that Acarya is, and if he is good, invite him here as well." The ministers went and asked. The Abbot said, "My religion is based on examining with reason. I do what is appropriate, and I do not do what is inappropriate." There, the king and ministers agreed to invite him, and they met in the garden of Ombhu. When the Emperor paid his respects, the Acarya said, "We made a vow before the stupa in Nepal for the doctrine of Od-srung to spread the sacred Dharma in Tibet. Has the king forgotten that?" When he replied that he did not know, the Abbot blessed him, and the Emperor correctly remembered his previous life. After that, on the top floor of the palace of Lung-tsuk, a silk tent was erected, and he was allowed to stay there. For four months, the Kashmiri Ananta translated and taught the Dharma to the Emperor, starting with the ten virtues, the twelve links of dependent origination, and the eighteen elements. The Tibetan demons were angered, and a flood carried away the palace of Pangtang, and lightning struck the palace of Marpo Ri (Red Hill). There were crop failures and great plagues in all the lands. All the Tibetan people said it was because of practicing the Dharma, and they were not allowed to practice the Dharma. The Emperor offered the Abbot a full measure of gold dust as three rewards. Saying this, the Acarya temporarily departed for Nepal. In the meantime, it was discussed and rewarded that Tibetans should not be allowed to practice the Dharma of the gods. Deceiving the Shanglon, they said that when it was possible to practice the Dharma, they would invite him again. The Abbot said, "To subdue the demons and spirits of Tibet, invite the master Padmasambhava, who is now the most powerful on earth, and the Emperor's wish will be fulfilled." He said that a full pot of gold should be given to the King of Nepal, and then he took it. The rest was given to the Emperor, and outwardly it was made to look like an expulsion, and Gyalsé Nang and Langdro Sara escorted him to the border of Nepal. Later
