The present body is an example of the three bodies. In the Uttaratantra, it says: "The Buddha is like a lotus, foul odor, honey, bee, husk with a heart, impurity with gold inside, treasure in the ground, sprouts, small fruits, a victor's body in ragged clothes, a ruler in the belly of a wicked woman, just as the earth has precious images, so it is with sentient beings obscured by sudden afflictive stains, they likewise possess this element." Thus it is said. Incidentally, examining the distinctions between definitive and provisional meanings: Generally speaking, there are three: explaining the intention, explaining the hidden intention in detail, and explaining the order of leading disciples into the teachings. The first has three parts: identifying the definitive and provisional meanings, their definitions, and their divisions. The first is: In the Ratnakuta Sutra, it says: "Those sutras that establish conventional truth are called provisional meaning. Those sutras that teach ultimate truth are called definitive meaning." Thus it is said. The second is: Among the contents of definitive and provisional meanings, which are the sutras that mainly teach the category of conventional truth, and which are the sutras that mainly teach the meaning of ultimate reality? The third is: Each of the definitive and provisional meanings also has definitive and provisional sutras. The second is: There are sutras with intention, sutras with hidden intention, and three explanations of the differences between the two. The first has four: sutras spoken with equality in mind, sutras spoken with a different meaning in mind, sutras spoken with a different time in mind, and sutras spoken with the thought of the individual in mind. The first is: To counteract contempt for the Buddha, the sutra that speaks of the three equalities, "I am the Buddha Vipashyin," and so on. The three equalities are: the equality of the two causes and conditions, the equality of the result, the Dharmakaya, and the equality of altruistic activity. The second is: To counteract contempt for the Dharma, the sutra that speaks of a different meaning, "One should kill one's parents, and the two pure kings, and if one destroys the country along with its retinue, then that person will become pure," and so on. The third is: To lead some lazy people, the sutra that says one can be born there with a single aspiration to be born in Sukhavati, and so on. The fourth is: To prevent clinging to superiority, the sutra that praises discipline by disparaging generosity, and so on. The Ornament of Sutras says:
