The samadhi and wisdom that accompany the hearing of subtle and gross sounds of the realm of dependence. Divisions: Two divisions of divine ear clairvoyance and clairvoyance. The first is: innate clairvoyance like the ears of gods of the desire and form realms; karma-born clairvoyance like the ears of a universal monarch; clairvoyance based on samadhi like the ears of one who has attained the basis of meditation. The definition of the third: What is it? Relying on one's own immediate cause, the mind of the basis of meditation, thereby directly knowing the minds of other continuums, including attachment, etc., possessing samadhi and wisdom. Divisions: Two divisions of merely knowing the minds of others and clairvoyance. Like gods and nagas knowing the continuums of others is innate; like knowing from the expressions of body and speech is conceptual; like knowing by reciting mantras is based on mantras; relying on the basis of meditation is the clairvoyance of knowing the minds of others based on samadhi. The latter is also the characteristic of clairvoyance. The definition of the fourth: What is it? Relying on one's own immediate cause, the mind of the basis of meditation, thereby being able to directly remember many previous lives of oneself and others, the samadhi and wisdom. Divisions: Like the gods of the desire and form realms is innate; like some people now remembering their previous lives is karma-born; relying on the basis of meditation is the clairvoyance of knowing the minds of others based on samadhi. The definition of the fifth: What is it? Relying on one's own uncommon immediate cause, the colored eye faculty purified by meditation, thereby directly seeing the subtle and gross forms of the world realm, the samadhi and wisdom. Divisions: As explained in the case of divine ear. Moreover, these clairvoyances of divine ear and divine eye possess four characteristics. As it says in the Treasury: The divine eye and ear, the pure form of the meditative ground, always possess a basis, are without incompleteness, are the objects of activity of distance, subtlety, etc. The definition of the sixth: What is it? Relying on the immediate cause, the mind of the basis of meditation, thereby directly knowing the exhaustion of defilements and any of the means of exhausting defilements.

具有等持智慧。

Possessing both meditative stabilization and wisdom. Classification: Two types of clairvoyance: knowing the nature of exhaustion of defilements, and knowing the means to it. The first is like the knowledge of a Hearer Arhat who has attained the basis of meditative stabilization, which is the obscuration of afflictions, and like omniscience, which is the obscuration of knowledge. The second is like the knowledge of a Hearer Learner Arya who has attained the basis of meditative stabilization, which is the obscuration of afflictions, and like the knowledge of a Mahayana Learner Arya, which is the obscuration of knowledge. Fourth, there are three: summary, definite number, and boundary. First, there are two types: supramundane clairvoyance and mundane clairvoyance. With regard to the former, the sixth is established. Second, clairvoyance that has become the nature of sense consciousness, there are divine eye and ear clairvoyance. With regard to what has become the nature of mind consciousness, the remaining three are established. As it says in the Treasury: "Eye and ear clairvoyance are unspecified, the rest are virtuous." Also, the first two are mainly unspecified, but not absolutely certain. The latter three are said to be mind consciousness, which refers to the stage of learning. Second, mainly accomplishing the perfection of benefiting others, six clairvoyances are established. As it says in the Ornament: "Having gone, knowing the conduct, with that speech to sentient beings, coming and going and definite departure, well teaching, I prostrate to you." Third, the first five exist even when not on the path, because they also exist in the continuum of outsiders who have attained the basis of meditative stabilization. The sixth exists in the continuum of all Aryas who have attained the basis of meditative stabilization. Third, the abode of the Aryas is the three doors of liberation. The abode of the gods is the absorption of the formless realms of meditative stabilization. The abode of Brahma is the manifestation of the four immeasurables. Temporarily going to the direction where the Buddha is to make offerings, going to the direction where sentient beings are to benefit them, and ultimately attaining omniscience. The ninth and tenth are the meaning of teaching the path of seeing and the path of meditation, which is teaching to eliminate the seeds of what is to be abandoned. What is to be abandoned are the two: imputed and innate. It is the real antidote to these two. Among them, there is the explanation of what is to be abandoned on the path of seeing and the explanation of what is to be abandoned on the path of meditation. First, in the desire realm, there are four truths, each with ten.
