It means that recognizing this, one will enjoy the fruits of becoming the lord of the year. That is its meaning. The second is, arriving at the year of the sheep, etc. As stated in the Kalachakra: When the sage Phurbu appears having left Pisces, or on the first day of mid-spring, Phurbu observes, whatever star is enjoyed will become the star of the lord of the year and month. That is its meaning. The third is, doing, etc. The third is, arranging, those fruits are, etc. These will be explained below as branches of various result calculations. Not only that, but also others, etc. The Kara Nyangtsis translated by Jowo Chokyong and Namsang, etc., and Shakya Drakjang, etc., also seem to be written down as practice. In some of the master's notes, the return fruits of the five planets, etc., are also recorded. If interested, you can look at the twelfth branch of the result calculation below. Fourth, the intercalary month is, that year, etc. After completing the explanation of the year, it is asked whether this month is an intercalary month. So, how is the intercalary month determined? In general, there are many ways to determine the intercalary month. In the Vinaya Sutra, it says: When the Blessed One was staying in the Light Garden, he said to the monks, abandon the intercalary month every five years. According to this, abandoning the intercalary month every five years, the kings determined the intercalary month every three years, which was inconsistent, and the ministers ridiculed them. After reporting to the Blessed One, the ministers' ridicule was justified, so do it according to the king's government. Therefore, it was allowed to abandon the intercalary month every three years like the king. However, some Tibetans also say: Accumulate the six remaining days of each year and abandon the intercalary month every five years. This is not only inconsistent with the Kalachakra, but also with the Abhidharmakosha. A moment, a day, a night, and a month are multiplied by thirty from top to top. That is, there are thirty days in each month, and on top of the twelve months, six remaining days are added, requiring three hundred and sixty-five days. As it is said: Including the remaining days, twelve months are one year. Also, some early Tibetans said: The years of the horse, bird, mouse, and rabbit have intercalary months, autumn, winter, and spring.

Some consider it to be "byar 'bring po gnyis." Some Han Chinese calendar calculators, in response to Confucius, said, "In inauspicious years, intercalate inauspicious months." Therefore, it is said that the four zodiac signs of tiger, snake, monkey, and pig should intercalate their respective months. Both of these methods believe that an intercalary month should be added every thirty-nine months, so there would be four intercalary months in twelve years, and twenty intercalary months in every sixty-year cycle, which is not even consistent with rough calculations, so it is not good. Some doctors also say that in "Zur Blo," "Gyü Chung," it says, "In three years, there is one intercalary month, and in the four inauspicious years, abandon the year of one's own birth." This means that in the four inauspicious years, the month of one's own birth should be intercalated, which is a rough calculation. Also, in "Soma Raja," it says, "Feminine six, twenty-nine, masculine six, thirty." In one year calculated in this way, there are fifteen days, and in three years there are also extra months. They believe that this is slightly more refined than the previous statement. But this is unreasonable, because in this passage of "Soma Raja," the method of calculating the intercalary month is to remove the feminine month six and calculate it with six "Mitut" days. In that case, an intercalary month can only be added every five years, and it is impossible to add an intercalary month in three years. Moreover, you only looked at the fourth and fifth sentences of this passage, but the words of these two sentences are clearly incorrect. If the words are not incorrect, then the first three sentences become unnecessary, because there will not be fifteen days in one year calculated in this way, because accumulating the "Mitut" part of the feminine month six only has six days. If it is said that on the basis of the masculine month six, forty-nine months are used as the intercalary month, then it contradicts the masculine six thirty. Therefore, from the textual structure of this passage, it seems to be a method of intercalating every five years, which is rougher than the method of "Gyü Chung," so what is meant by rough and refined? One should first study the secular sayings. Even so, the commentary on the Kalachakra Tantra says that every thirty-two and a half months will become an extra month. For example, every year, the difference between the constellations is eleven days, four hours, thirty-six minutes, five breaths, and seven "Ados," and dividing these successively by twelve gives each constellation month and
