After nine years from that, in total, after forty-two years from the Wood Tiger year when Natsok Rangdrol was born, etc., Khenchen Do Ngak Tendzin, at the age of forty-four in the Earth Sheep year, composed the astrological treatise "Yongnang Dronma," and passed away at the age of fifty-three in the Earth Dragon year. After twenty-two years from the Fire Rat year, etc., Sungtul Tsultrim Dorje was born in the Earth Dog year and passed away in the eighty-eighth Wood Snake year. After thirteen years from the Earth Dog year, etc., Rigzin Trinley Lhundrup was born in the Earth Pig year, and turned the wheel of Dharma for fifty-two years, passing away in the Water Tiger year. After six years from that, etc., after two thousand four hundred and ninety-seven years from the Fire Snake year when Thubpa'i Wangpo passed away, Jey Gyalwa Rinpoche.

The great omniscient Ngawang Lobsang Gyatso was born as a lamp in the world, and now at the age of sixty-five, we still pray that your lotus feet will remain firm for hundreds of kalpas, as a source of merit and sustenance for the benefit of the teachings and sentient beings. Then, twenty-nine years later, etc., in the inexhaustible Fire Dog year, the incomparable and gracious Lord Lama, the Treasure Revealer Dharma King, was born. Then, two years later, etc., in the Earth Rat year, the younger brother Gyalsay Rinpoche was born. Then, fifteen years later, etc., in the Water Rabbit year, the incarnation of the Father Lord Rigdzin Chenpo was born. Then, seven years later, etc., when the Lord Lama reached the age of twenty-five, the year of his life obstacle, in the Iron Male Dog year, this assembly of Orgyen Mindrolling was newly established. Then, four years later, etc., in the Wood Tiger year, Gyalsay Rinpoche passed away. The following year, the Wood Rabbit year, Khenchen Lhumpowa passed away. Then, one year later, etc., on the third day of the fourth month of the Fire Dragon year, the foundation of the main temple of Orgyen Mindrolling was laid. Then, three years later, etc., in the Earth Female Sheep year, by the decree of Gyalwang Jigten Wangchuk, the incarnation of Lhasay Muktri, Miwang Sangye Gyatso, became the ruler of Tibet, taking the Three Jewels as his guru, and governing the kingdom according to the Dharma. The following year, etc., the Kadam Kathang says: "The treasure hidden in the back door of Shawuk, the sign of extracting it without leaving anything will appear, and the one called Treasure Revealer Terdag Lingpa will appear." As prophesied, the Lord Lama extracted the profound treasure of Shawuk, which is mainly what is mentioned here. Otherwise, at the age of eighteen, in the Water Rabbit year, from Drakmar Yamalung; at the age of twenty-two, in the Fire Sheep year, from Yarlung Sheldrak; at the age of thirty-two, in the Fire Snake year, from Ngamshö Okar Drak, and other places, he extracted many profound treasures, and will continue to extract them. In general, he paid great attention to the previous Kama treasures, making the Nyingma teachings like a continuation of life. We pray that your indestructible swastika feet will remain firm on the vajra throne. One year after the Iron Monkey year, the Iron Bird year called "Bad Wisdom" arrives, which is the year in which this treatise was written.
