He proceeded to meet them. There he also met the supreme incarnate body. High seats were arranged in both the guesthouse and the attendant's quarters, and lavish feasts and offerings were made. He thoroughly inspected all the temples that had arisen from the power of unparalleled dominion, purifying pure appearances. On the twenty-sixth, he was invited to Sangngak Ling (གསང་སྔགས་གླིང་), where the mantra holders offered elaborate Cham dances, and he stayed there for three days, worshiping with abundant reverence. He performed longevity rituals related to the ceremonies, offered lavish gifts, and bestowed empowerments of Amitayus and Gur Drag (གུར་དྲག་), among others. There, the lama of Samdrub Chöding (བསམ་གྲུབ་ཆོས་སྡིངས་) also came to meet him, and people came to offer memorial offerings for the deceased reincarnation of Zalmog Dragjam Gön (ཟལ་མོ་བྲག་འཇམ་མགོན་). Between Latok (ལ་ཐོག་), he was escorted by the lama father and son, and that night he stayed at Pan Nam Lhukang (པ་རྣམ་ཀླུ་ཁང་). Dzongpon Panpo Changgyabpa (འཕན་པོ་ལྕང་རྒྱབ་པ) came to meet him with generous offerings of food and clothing. The next evening, he was invited to Drongtse (འབྲོང་རྩེར), where he bestowed the subsequent permission of Tseringma, Hayagriva, Vajrapani, and Vaishravana upon Jacham Yumse (བྱ་ལྕམ་ཡུམ་སྲས), and others. He stayed for two days, and lavish hospitality was offered. The next morning, he proceeded to the monastery of Gyalje Tshal (རྒྱལ་བྱེད་ཚལ་). He offered hospitality to the lama who taught tantra and the monastic community, and he visited all the temples, both upper and lower. He said that the wonderful writings of Kunkhyen Pema Karpo (ཀུན་མཁྱེན་པད་དཀར་བ) were captivating. He generously distributed alms to the assembly, and that night, as invited by Gyaltse Dzong (རྒྱལ་རྩེ་རྫོང་), he was escorted by a crowd of devout local people to Gyaltse Lhukang (རྒྱལ་རྩེ་ཀླུ་ཁང་). Dzongpon Wobgong (འབོག་གོང་) and Dod Gonpa (རྡོ་དགོན་པ་) both came to meet him, and according to the emperor's decree, they offered food and clothing. He stayed there for five days. One day, he proceeded to Pelkhor Chöde (དཔལ་འཁོར་ཆོས་སྡེ), and thoroughly inspected the temple and the Kumbum stupa. The Khenpo there, Yartöpa Ngawang Trinle (ཡར་སྟོད་པ་ངག་དབང་འཕྲིན་ལས་), was one of His Holiness's disciples, but there was only a token of tea. All the abbots of the Gelug Trangchenpa (གྲང་ཆེན་པ་) and Sakya monasteries came to meet him and made extensive offerings. At that time, it coincided with the summer Dharma assembly, so he also went to observe the lectures and debates. He was privately invited to the Gurpa (གུར་པ) public house, where a grand feast was held, as well as the monks and patrons there.
