Respectfully submitted. To present the gift of Ladakh's submission, the uncle Kunga Tsultrim was sent. Zhabdrung Trichen Rinpoche, who had previously felt slightly unwell due to political affairs, had his condition worsen, so the official residence's legal staff regularly offered medicine. In addition, skilled doctors such as Ngangtse Rin and Tsering were invited from outside the official residence for treatment. All monasteries of the inner and outer Sangha, as well as many monasteries in various regions, suspended tea offerings. Furthermore, countless methods of auspicious connections relying on mantra practitioners were employed. Primarily, the Dharma King himself performed empowerments, blessings, life-extension ransom rituals, and ablutions, but only incurable and ominous signs appeared. Thus, on the twelfth day of the eleventh month, as the sun turned completely red, he passed away peacefully with wondrous omens. At that time, the Dharma King himself clearly proclaimed the essential instructions appropriate for the occasion. Moreover, at the time of passing, liberation mantras were placed on the body. Similarly, relics of the Buddhas and sacred substances from treasures were offered for liberation. That night, we, the eight disciples, performed rituals including purification of the place and prophecies before the body. In the Blissful Realm of the Dakinis (Kha Khyod Deldan), the monastic community of eight practitioners of the Namcho Space Treasury performed the practice of Kunrig in the morning and Hevajra in the evening. The assembly of Mindroling Monastery performed the peaceful Guru and the peaceful and wrathful illusory offering rituals in the assembly hall. Dingri Chöje and his disciples, along with seven yogis such as Ba Rawa, accumulated water offerings, and so on, establishing funeral rites for a total of thirty-six days. On the evening of the twenty-ninth, the Dharma King himself purified the body with a peaceful fire offering. From the head emerged an amazing rosary of relics. He received the prophecy of Gyalwa Rinpoche, that he would be reborn as one who practices Mahayana Buddhism among the gods of the desire realm. In addition, as a farewell offering, starting with the Great Prayer Festival in Lhasa, tea and meals were offered to most of the monastic communities in Ü-Tsang, and offerings were made to all the great beings such as the omniscient Gyalwa Rinpoche. Offerings were made at all the great sacred sites such as Lhasa and Samye Monastery, and all the large and small monastic communities, including the inner and outer Sangha and Monkhar, were invited to the various temples of each monastery to engage in practice.
