Tents were set up in Girdar, and the steward and host of Tsedong (Tse-gdong) arrived to offer the first reception as estate owners. The next morning, on the bank of the Ge-re Yangkhuk (Ge-re'i yang-khug) river, the steward of Shabdrung Trichyen (Zhabs-drung khri-rgyan), Tritsum Laner (Srid-gsum bla-gnyer), and other officials led about twenty horsemen to welcome him.
