Tea offerings and extensive veneration were made. From then on, the monastery had a fixed daily tea offering, and a letter inquiring about health was sent every month, and various Chinese and Tibetan items were continuously offered through messengers. Even during his stay in the Potala Palace, tea was offered daily, and various kinds of food were continuously offered. In order to offer support for the teachings, a disciple of the master was needed, and later Gomchen Lhundrup Gyatso was appointed as the representative. On the seventh, he arrived at the Potala Palace and fulfilled the wishes of all those who came to visit, including Balung Tulku, Kongpo Bayu Lama, and Dokhar Lady. From the ninth, the protective wheel and the mandala of the secret practice of Great Compassion were made, and the practice was performed for seven consecutive days, during which auspicious signs appeared. On the eighteenth, on the auspicious day of accomplishment, an initiation ceremony was held, and offerings were made. The master was very pleased and bestowed generous gifts, including a complete set of satin brocade, three taels of gold, a silver mandala, and khatas. Afterwards, when he went to Lhasa to visit the Jowo statue, he also suppressed evil spirits at the entrance of the inner courtyard. During this time, Nupa on the tenth, Lhakawa, Chumika, Jangling, De Sal Uzé, and Chakrongpa each invited him, made offerings, and bestowed initiations, transmissions, and blessings according to their wishes. Returning to the Potala Palace again, on the afternoon of the nineteenth, many auspicious khatas "Nyende Ma," about thirty pieces of inner and outer silk, a complete set of monastic robes, gold and silver, musical instruments, and other generous farewell gifts were prepared in advance. On the twenty-first, the Desi also bestowed generous gifts of the same standard as before. On the twenty-fifth, he set out on his journey, staying one night each in Sangda, Tragong, Kyishong, and Yangga, and arrived at Mindrolling Monastery on the twenty-ninth. Soon after, on the fifth and sixth of December, all the officials and monks of Dumbo were invited. According to the good Tibetan tradition, a grand welcoming ceremony was held, and offerings were made with timely and occasional lavish feasts, and he stayed for about five or six days. On the way back, he revitalized the monasteries of the old Kadampa tradition.
