He went to Ü. The lords and disciples followed behind, and gradually the princes of Ngari and other high-ranking officials and attendants came to greet him with many escorts, and with great respect, such as blowing conch shells, playing gyaling, and burning incense, they proceeded to Tsepa Serden Dorje's palace. There, they first performed a longevity ritual to establish auspiciousness for the reincarnation, and then offered the empowerments and transmissions of the Mind Drop, Destroyer of Yama, and the new treasures of Namchak Drak, as well as the root and compilation of the extensive visions of the noble Gyalwa Dampa, totaling about seventeen transmissions and empowerments. Service and offerings were abundant, and precious objects such as representations of body, speech, and mind, responsibility assignments, cushions, etc., were offered, and a ritual for the long life of his lotus feet was also performed. He also gave the empowerment and transmission of Vajrasattva to Zur Chumiwa and Yibchi Lama. On the first day of the sixth month, he set out with about thirty escorts, and as he departed, the reincarnation himself waved a white scarf from above the residence. Then, Lama Ösel Longyang of Yibchi Monastery invited him. There, he gave a long life empowerment to tens of thousands of assembled people, both permanent residents and sudden visitors, as well as to the residents of Marlam Ngorupa. Gradually, he went to visit Yerpa. At that time, the sky was very clear, but as soon as he saw Yerpa, it suddenly rained only in that place, and he said, "This is the welcome of the mothers and dakinis." That night, he performed a hundred ganachakra offerings in the Moon Cave. During that ganachakra, with a body posture of arising realization and from his mouth, he also said, "All those who are present in this ganachakra today have the auspicious connection to go to the Rakshasa Island with me in the future," and so on, he gave many definitive instructions. The next morning, he thoroughly visited all the sacred sites. He also gave the Dharma connection of Agar's Hayagriva Kyergang tradition and Sampalhundrupma to the monks of Yerpa. In this way, in various places of Upper Ü, many devotees also gathered, and he performed countless dedications and Dharma connections for the living and the dead, placing limitless sentient beings on the ladder to higher realms and liberation, and on the fourth day, he arrived at the great Potala Palace. On that day, Lhasé Mutri Tsenpo once again became the lord of the people of the snowy land, that is, the current Desi Rin.

On this auspicious occasion, it coincided with the first celebration of the enthronement ceremony where Gyalwang Jetsun Jigmey Dorje (རྒྱལ་མཆོག་འཇིག་རྟེན་དབང་ཕྱུག་, Victorious Lord of the World) was crowned with the mandate of political and religious authority. Upon arrival, he proceeded to offer a ceremonial scarf to his superiors. At that time, the Desi (Regent) presented him with the precious "Scepter of Power," symbolizing authority. The specific ritual was that in the chamber called "Victory Banner of the Three Realms" (གཟིམ་ཆུང་ཁམས་གསུམ་རྣམ་རྒྱལ་), the尊者 (Jetsun) ascended the throne. A seat higher than the usual throne was prepared for him, and he was invited to sit. Then, initially, the Desi Rinpoche sat on a lower seat, and after performing exorcism and ablution rituals, he ascended to the throne. This was called the "Scepter of Power," a ritual where kings and royalty receive empowerment from the crown of their heads, distinct from the rituals of Brahmins and others, and offerings of auspicious items such as the authoritative crest jewel were also presented. Just as all Buddhas and the supreme ruler stood on one side, the emperor also showered auspicious wishes like rain of flowers, and a propitious inauguration ceremony was held. As the great master Padmasambhava said, "The incarnate king is of great wisdom, holding the reins of law in the name of Buddha," this is the meaning of this event. On the vast earth adorned with four oceans, the precious crown symbolizing power, when worn, the light of my (the author's) reputation, like the moon, was dimmed by the blazing sun. Then, during the throne offering ceremony, the Dongtrug empowerment was bestowed upon Dorje Drak Tulku Rinpoche and Gungthang Tulku, the empowerment and transmission of "Liberation from Samsara" was bestowed upon Trewo Tulku, and the empowerment and transmission of "New Treasure of Sky Iron Rock" was bestowed upon Thugssey Tulku. Longevity empowerment was bestowed upon Yarlung Tripön Lingpa, and to the many lamas, abbots, officials, attendants, etc., who came to offer the throne, Dharma teachings and basic necessities were granted according to their respective wishes. Chöje Trazangpa, who was seriously ill, was invited to his presence, and there, the Vajrapani empowerment and exorcism rituals of Jangchub Lingpa were performed, and he soon recovered. After that, empowerments and oral transmissions were given to about fifty monks of the monastic college for several consecutive days.
