Then, extensive offerings of gold, silver, silk, mules, and horses were made, along with generous tea money and gold coins. Following that, the consecration of the mandala was also performed solely with objects transformed from the personal belongings of the precious mother. Regarding the vows, the entire collection of the glorious Kangyur scriptures, newly made from gold and silver, the incarnate lamas and monks offered with gold, and the statue of the compassionate great being on the lion throne of the stupa, were all desired to be consecrated at once. Therefore, the Kangyur and the lamas were placed at the summit of Samantabhadra, and according to the local conditions, three consecration ceremonies were performed. At the place where the main object to be consecrated was located, the lord himself, along with his sons, the chief of the monastic community, and about fifteen geshes and other monks, according to the saying, "Whatever body is to be consecrated, the consecration of that should be done on it," relied on the vast mandala of the Great Compassionate Avalokiteśvara, the embodiment of all Sugatas, to perform the recitation ceremony. In the great assembly hall of the Labrang, I requested the head of the monastic assembly to preside over the Kagye Deshek. On the lion throne of the stupa, the incarnate Khenchen Wangpo led about ten retreatants, relying on the mandala of the Guru Rigdzin Kundü, and each performed the consecration ceremony. About fifty new monks who could not fit in the great assembly hall performed flower offerings in the clean room, reciting the mantra of the Essence of Dependent Origination (Tibetan: རྟེན་འབྲེལ་སྙིང་པོའི་གཟུངས་སྔགས།, Sanskrit Devanagari: प्रतीत्यसमुत्पादहृदय, Sanskrit Romanization: pratītyasamutpādahṛdaya, Literal Chinese meaning: Heart of Dependent Origination). On the twenty-fourth day, preparations were made for the consecration of all three ceremonies. On the twenty-fifth day, at the auspicious time of the union of the sage Phurbu Nabso and his consort, the main ceremony was performed, and the vase initiation and other preparations were completed before dawn. Starting from waking up at dawn and bathing, until the completion of the offerings necessary for the special abiding of the wisdom being, the front of the Labrang, a wide open space as flat as the palm of a hand, was where the wheel of wisdom of the Great Compassionate Avalokiteśvara, the embodiment of all Sugatas, was invited to the supreme hearth for the enjoyment of the burnt offerings. The lord himself, adorned with various radiant jewels, entered as a Chakravartin, and among the retinue of ritual monks, roughly
