and proceeded together, holding a grand welcoming feast at Lima Lhakhang. On the first day of the second month, he visited the upper and lower levels of the Lhakhang. That night, in Chusang, he also had a dream of clear instructions for performing Powa (འཕོ་བ, transference of consciousness) before his mother. On the second day, he went to visit Magonkhang Damjarma (དམ་འབྱར་མ, oath-bound one), offering tormas, making complete prayers and entrustments. On the morning of the fourth day, he was invited to the assembly hall, and all the monastic and practice communities offered a grand long-life prayer. The next day, the monastic community performed drum dances, mask dances, etc., which pleased him greatly, praising them for being well-organized. On the sixth day, he bestowed upon the monastic members the empowerment of the New Treasure peaceful and wrathful Guru, the subjugation of Yama (གཤིན་རྗེ་དྲེགས་འཇོམས), and the transmissions of the activity cycle. On the seventh day, as invited by the Sbyora (སྦྱོ་ར) patron, he traveled, and the local governor Gyasebu (རྒྱས་བུ) led the ministers and attendants of Rtse (རྩེ) with a grand procession and the monastic community, welcoming him and inviting him to the monastery's Labrang (བླ་བྲང, living quarters of a lama). The incarnate Rinpoche himself greeted him, met with friendly etiquette, and held a grand welcoming ceremony. On the ninth day, he visited the sacred sites and internal relics, and as a gift of incense, he provided generous alms to the monastic community and bestowed abundant wealth upon the incarnate. He also fulfilled his wishes by granting the transmission of some Dharma teachings of the New Treasure. The next day, a farewell feast and abundant offerings were presented. As invited by the local governor, he traveled to the lower part, bestowing the empowerment of Guru Drakpo (གུར་དྲག, Wrathful Guru) and Amitayus upon the officials, and offering them with generous hospitality and offerings. He bestowed auspicious blessings for the political affairs of the local governors, and it seems that a prince was born not long after. There, on the eleventh day, in memory of the passing of Rinpoche's mother in Chusang, as a symbol of offering, a rosary made entirely of Chinese pearls, each weighing about one Chinese ounce, as well as special neck crystals and other body ornaments, clothing, and extraordinary old silk garments, etc., were sent as important old treasures.
