Offerings were made before the supreme Kyabje Rinpoche and other holy beings. At Chimpu (mChims phu) and Samye (bsam yas), offerings were made at all the sacred sites, starting with the hundred offerings, including hanging prayer flags, lighting lamps, and offering garlands. Most of the large and small monastic communities, both internal and external, as well as those from the Mongol and Chinese regions, were invited to perform elaborate mandala rituals and recite special prayers, etc., for each anniversary of the passing, as well as for the actual monastic assembly. Until the inner relics were fully consecrated, offerings and veneration of the Sangha were continuously performed, all in accordance with the funeral arrangements previously made for the late Trichen. On the evening of the eighteenth, the remains were brought to Chimpu (mChims phu). At the foot of the White Tent Cave, the very place where Guru Rinpoche had demonstrated the purification of the corpse of the divine consort Padma Sal by cremation, the remains were invited to rest in the mandala of the Dakinis that was erected there. In conjunction with the rituals of the Lama and the nine yoginis, the service of cremating the corpse was completed, and the skull was retrieved. This is what is now known as "Dekyong," which is hard and heavy, with a perfect shape and color, captivating at first sight. On the forehead, the syllable "ཧྲཱིཿ" (Tibetan, Devanagari: ह्रीः, Romanized Sanskrit: hrīḥ, Literal Chinese meaning: Shame) is clearly visible. On the teeth that appeared in the hands of devotees, images of the eleven-faced Avalokiteśvara also appeared. At that time, all the surrounding areas were surrounded by drizzle, but the sky directly above that place was exceptionally clear, and many other miraculous and auspicious signs appeared. After the cremation ceremony, four retreatants from the Namdzö Drubde performed the Kunrig (Sarvavid) ritual for twenty-five days. Eight monks sharing a single cushion performed the ritual of invoking the heart commitment of the Eight Sugatas for about ten days. At Mindrolling Monastery (smin grol gling), the uninterrupted recitation of the Guhyagarbha Tantra and the root tantra of the Compendium of Intentions (Düpa Do) was performed for the duration of the time offerings, and butter lamps were continuously offered at the Lima Lhakhang, etc., performing an exceptionally elaborate funeral ceremony. During these ceremonies, the upper officials mainly sent generous and noble gifts to Drubgyal Lingpa (grub rgyal gling pa). In addition, all those who had connections also offered anniversary gifts, tea, and so on. Drubgyal Lingpa (grub rgyal gling pa) was granted the empowerment of Guru Drakpo, and the Khampa
