A feast and celebration were held at Rashal Sro. Then, he went to the monastery and offered silk and other offerings to the deities in the temples, and generously bestowed tea and tea money to the monks. During this time, the lineage of Shabdrung, the heads of the monastery, Khenpo Chokyong Gyaltsen, and about ten of us brothers, received a transmission of the Khandro Nyingthig (Dakini Heart Essence) every day without interruption. Then he served as the master of the great year-end Dharma assembly. Forty-three years old. At the age of forty-three, he attended the New Year's gathering of the Earth Dragon year (1688) as usual. The next day, a grand feast was prepared in the Ladrang Great Assembly Hall for the heads of the monastery, elders, uncle and son, the New Year's offering people of Trewo, Jagö Khenpo, and others. On the third day, a grand feast was also held in the Kunzang Phodrang (All-Good Palace) in the sleeping quarters. On the fifteenth day, he bestowed the vows of Bodhicitta according to the Madhyamaka and Cittamatra systems to Jagö Khenpo and about thirty other diligent people, including us brothers. At that time, his son, the incarnate lama, went to Phodrang Chenmo (Great Palace) to offer the crown of manifestation, and according to the same procedure, sequentially offered the prayers of welcome. At the end of the first month, when he traveled via relay stations, a welcoming fire and horses were prepared at the dock, and two hundred and fifty monks carrying offerings in the front and rear greeted him with an exceptionally dignified procession. A welcoming ceremony was held at Ladrang, and a grand welcoming banquet was held at Kunzang Phodrang. They also offered generous gifts and generously bestowed tea money to the Sangha. The incarnate lama of Bonlung also offered a private audience gift. They also presented a performance of the Cham dance music performed on the twenty-eighth day of the monastery's great Dharma assembly. On the fourth day of the second month, on the auspicious day of the accomplishment of Pasang Namdru, he was invited to the Great Assembly Hall, which was beautifully decorated with curtains, banners, thrones, and other ornaments. A long-life ritual was held based on the mandala of the Tshepakme Yangnying Kundü (Amitayus Essence of All Combined), and everyone indisputably recognized the Dharma throne of Gongma as that of Gongma Kunsang Dorje.
