At the beginning of the third month, Yakshen jointly received the empowerment of Guru Dragpo and the empowerment of a hundred longevity practices. Prior to that, a propitiation ritual to avert obstacles by dakinis was held, and offerings such as ransom for the dying, purification of defilements, and ablutions were made. Afterwards, he proceeded to Lhasa, where he paid homage to the Jowo Shakyamuni statue and made prayers. During this time, many great sacred sites of Lhasa invited and honored him, bestowing many empowerments and subsequent permissions according to their respective wishes. He then returned to Ritse, where he was granted generous gifts including precious silk fabrics, about twenty volumes of the Kangyur and Tengyur scriptures, a special bronze bell, a cloak and robe made of Ganden cloth, seven gold srangs, a silver mandala, tea bricks, a Chinese pipe, Chinese cymbals, a Chinese drum, twenty pieces of inner and outer cloth, curtains, thangkas, covers for statues, tea sets, and a complete set of horse saddles and equipment. Afterwards, on the way to his mount, Lama Thutop invited him to the new monastery, Gon-sar. He offered a special alloy statue of a pig made from Ong-jiang stone. Passing through Jela, he was invited to Dorje Drak, where he offered the transmission of the New Treasures to the incarnate Rinpoche. Returning, he listened to the empowerment of Immortal Light, and gradually proceeded to Tarling. On the tenth day of the fourth month, the Dalai Lama bestowed all the necessary provisions such as land for the monastery and monastic community, and named it "Ogmin Orgyen Mindroling," meaning "Great Garden of Joy of Definite Meaning." After that, he tonsured the newly established monastic community and bestowed the vows of refuge. Afterwards, he proceeded towards Desi Lhoka, to the place where he was to be received. There, during the banquet, he conversed with Jamyang Khenpo Nubgo Tengpa, who was a high official of Tsetang. During the conversation, the Khenpo said, "The fact that your Nyingma tradition's tantra, the Guhyagarbha-tantra, does not have Chinese words at the beginning, does this mean that it was secretly brought to Tibet?" To this, the venerable one replied, "If that were the case, then since many sutras such as the Sukhavativyuha Sutra and the Garbhavakranti Sutra do not mention Chinese words at the beginning, does that mean that these sutras were also secretly brought to Tibet? Moreover, the commentary on the Compendium, written by Vishvamitra, was also translated into Tibetan, because it quotes many teachings from the Guhyagarbha-tantra." The Khenpo was speechless and ashamed, and said, "Then the sutras
