Together with the mother, above it, a wondrous rainbow cloud pillar stood like a spear, and could be drawn out for a short while, seeming to form a common sight for all. At that time, the great master Padmasambhava erected the life pillar, and the Victor Mipham (Tibetan: མ་ཕམ་པ།) scattered flowers, etc., also seemed to effortlessly manifest extraordinary and wondrous sights, which are the play of wisdom's illusion, and will not be elaborated on here. That day, generous and abundant food was offered to all the virtuous workers from Samtenling Monastery (Tibetan: བསམ་དགོན།), and people spontaneously gathered to watch the dancers' wooden games and other performances. In the evening, a very moistening drizzle fell, and the auspicious signs were also very good. In general, since the foundation of the stupa was laid, I took the lead, and the abbot of the monastery and the eight Geshes, every month on the eighth and fifteenth, performed the ritual of offering seventy-seven tsatsas and ninety-nine tsatsas. In connection with this, two Lharampas (Tibetan: རབ་འབྱམས་པ།, Buddhist philosophy doctors) recited scriptures such as the "Immaculate Two Sutras" and the "Heart Sutra," and performed the ritual of consecrating vases, etc. Since the establishment of the life pillar, the ritual of stabilizing the life pillar was also performed once a month until the stupa was completely completed. The originally scheduled grand tenth-day ceremony of the tenth month of the Tibetan calendar was postponed to the eleventh, and the master of the throne personally presided over the ceremony, and bestowed the Torma empowerment to the Sangha and many internal and external devotees. From the twelfth onwards, symptoms of black phlegm disease appeared, and he began to fall ill. Doctor Genpen (Tibetan: གཞན་ཕན།) offered medicine for treatment, and at the same time, he continued to impart empowerments and oral transmissions to the previous Dharma students without interruption. On the twenty-first, extra tea and offerings were generously given to both the upper and lower tantric colleges of the monastery. On the twenty-second, monastic tea was offered to all monastic communities inside and outside the monastery, regardless of sect, and large amounts of tea and cloth were given to the local assembly, and feasts were given to the virtuous workers of the stupa, etc. On the twenty-fifth, the monastery held a ceremony of praying for the stability of the throne in connection with the Yangnying Kundu (Tibetan: ཡང་སྙིང་ཀུན་འདུས།) mandala, and I personally performed the Dakini obstacle-clearing ritual for the purpose of dispelling illness and misfortune. On the twenty-sixth, etc., Genpen...

In addition, བསམ་དགོན་པ། and སྐྱི་སྟོན་པ་ and others also successively offered the prayer for the permanent residence of the private chamber. On the 28th, they also offered the dharanis from the bottom of the stupa. On the first day of the sixth month, at the auspicious time of རྒྱལ་ཕུར་འགྲུབ་སྦྱོར་, the consecration of the newly built objects of the great deity was completed. Starting from this day, in the Lhabrang Great Assembly Hall, the monastic assembly recited the entire Kangyur for seven consecutive days, and accumulated as many recitations of the Hundred Thousand Verses and the Eight Thousand Verses as possible. In addition to the usual tea supply, two extra servings of butter tea and one serving of noodles were provided each day. The offerings included clothes, as well as fabrics of suitable material and color, and fine tea, etc., and generous donations were given. On the fifth, ཕུན་རབ་ཆོས་དྲུང་ from མཁའ་སྤྱོད་བདེ་ཆེན་ offered the prayer for the permanent residence of the private chamber. The next day, ཐེ་སེ་འོར་བླ་མ་ཆོས་མཛད་ offered several large silver door rings and generous and grand offerings including fabrics, and bestowed the teaching of dedicating these offerings as firm seeds of unsurpassed enlightenment. On the tenth, དགེ་ཡེའི་སློབ་དཔོན་བ་བསོད་ནམས་བཟང་པོ་ offered gifts and held a feast offering for the assembled monks, and held a longevity prayer ceremony related to the longevity ritual in the Lhabrang Great Assembly Hall. During this period, in order to help the two monks བློ་གྲོས་ and རིག་འཛིན་ enter the Vajrasattva retreat, special assistance was given. For the many Dharma seekers who gathered before and after, according to their respective wishes, he bestowed various empowerments, transmissions, and instructions of both new and old treasures, fulfilling their wishes. On the thirteenth, དོལ་པོ་བླ་མ་ཚེ་རིང་ offered gold and silver and other gifts, and སྙེ་མདོ་ offered a grand prayer for the permanent residence of the private chamber, including ཨར་སྟོན་. On the fourteenth, he met with the lama of གསང་སྔགས་བྱང་ཆུབ་གླིང་ who came to seek the Dharma. Starting from the next day, he began the transmission and instruction of the Dakini Heart Essence for many people such as ཁོང་པ་ and ཆོས་འཕེལ་. On the twenty-first, when the sacred objects of the Dharma protectors, which were to be placed on the four corners of the lion throne of the stupa, were brought out from the retreat room, a loud thunderclap sounded, and a wind blew them towards the stupa, which became an auspicious sign that everyone recognized.
