One should abandon all expectations of results, such as wealth in this life, the happiness of gods and humans in future lives, and ultimately, the attainment of Nirvana. Furthermore, 'Abandon poisonous food' means that all virtuous actions should not be mixed with the poison of clinging to true existence and self-cherishing. 'Do not associate with bad rulers' means not to hold grudges for a long time against harm done by others. 'Do not speak evil words' means not to repay evil with evil words. 'Do not wait for opportunities' means not to seek opportunities for revenge. 'Do not strike at the weak points' means not to expose people's shortcomings, and not to recite mantras of non-humans, etc., not to do anything that harms the minds of others. 'Do not put the burden of a mule on an ox' means not to shift the responsibility or bad things that befall oneself onto others. 'Do not aim for a quick peak' means to abandon the thoughts and actions of making common enjoyments and fame one's own private gain. 'Do not go hungry' means that if you want to become good from the root, you must accept failure, and practicing for the sake of pacifying diseases and demons is like eating when hungry, so abandon these. 'Do not turn gods into demons' means to abandon arrogance and conceit through practice, and no matter who you associate with, always take the lowest position like the last of slaves. 'Do not seek suffering in the branches of happiness' means to abandon the thoughts and actions of wanting others to suffer for your own happiness. Seventh, the precepts of Lojong (mind training): 'Do all yogas with one' means that all yogas concerning food, clothing, and lifestyle should be done only with the thought of benefiting others. 'Do all suppression of errors with one' means that when practicing the path, if undesirable things happen, such as illness, demons, hatred of the land and people, and the increase of one's own afflictions, one should take all the undesirable and unpleasant things of all sentient beings upon oneself, and resolve to cultivate great compassion. 'Do two things at the beginning and the end' means that at the beginning, one should start by throwing a stone to test the way, as mentioned before; and at the end, one should review before sleeping, to see if it has been successful like throwing a stone to test the way, and if it has been successful, cultivate joy, and if it has not been successful, confess, etc., to put one's mind on the path of Dharma. 'Endure whatever happens' means that whether one encounters good or bad fortune, one should transform it into an aid for the path, because their nature and cause... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Through understanding all conditions as illusory, one becomes without arrogance and without discouragement. These two (attitudes) should be guarded even at the cost of one's life.' That is to say, one should guard the general Dharma and especially the vows of mind training as if guarding one's life. If this is lacking, like a dilapidated house with crumbling foundations, the root of the Dharma will be destroyed.' One should train in the three difficulties.' That is to say, first, because the antidote to afflictions is difficult to remember, one should remember it; In the middle, because it is difficult to avert what should be abandoned, one should avert it; finally, because it is difficult to cut off the continuum of what should be abandoned, one should strive for the means to cut off the continuum.' One should adopt the three main causes.' That is to say, the external cause is to rely on a supreme spiritual friend, the internal cause is that one's own mind can be used for the Dharma, and the cause that combines both is to have favorable conditions for practicing the Dharma, such as food and clothing. One should strive to create these conditions. One should meditate on the three that do not decline.' That is to say, unwavering devotion to the lama, unwavering enthusiasm for meditating on mind training, and unwavering mindfulness in guarding the vows one has taken. These three should be meditated on constantly.' One should be endowed with the three that are inseparable.' That is to say, one should always ensure that the three doors of body, speech, and mind are inseparable from virtue. Train impartially in all places. Cherish universality and depth.' That is to say, without discriminating between near and far, high and low, beneficial and harmful objects, one should train the mind in all things, and ultimately extend it to all sentient beings; Moreover, this should not be mere lip service, but should be done genuinely from the depths of one's heart, cherishing all practices from the beginning, middle, and end.' One should always meditate on those who are used (as objects).’ That is to say, especially for those objects that are difficult to generate compassion for, such as competitors, those who are jealous, those who repay kindness with harm, and those with old grudges, those whom one naturally dislikes, as well as those who are suffering, such as the sick and the helpless, and important objects such as parents, one should train the mind through thought and give help through action. Do not rely on other conditions.' That is to say, do not rely on the presence of favorable conditions and the absence of unfavorable conditions, but rather transform whatever arises into the path of practice.' Now mainly practice.' That is to say, at this time when there is an opportunity to practice the Dharma, one should mainly practice six things: among the affairs of this life and the next, mainly practice the affairs of the next life; among listening to teachings and practicing, mainly practice; among other Dharmas and bodhicitta, mainly practice bodhicitta; among scriptures and pith instructions, mainly practice the lama's pith instructions; among the conduct of walking, staying, sitting, and lying down --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
