Properly rely on virtuous spiritual friends who are learned and accomplished, such as the cuckoo of reasoning. From the time of requesting the Hevajra empowerment from Lama Rāhula Gupta, he beheld the faces of many yidams (tutelary deities). He gained mastery over inconceivable samādhi. Based on the prophecies of lamas and many yidams in visions and dreams, he took ordination in Phalchen Der and became fully ordained. He gained control over clairvoyance and miraculous powers. He subdued many demons and heretics. By listening to the instructions on mind training from the aforementioned lamas and yidam deities, his bodhicitta (mind of enlightenment) grew like a river in summer. In particular, considering that the great Serlingpa (Suvarṇadvīpa) was the master of bodhicitta, he went to Serling (Suvarṇadvīpa) to request instructions. As soon as they met, he recognized him as his lama from a previous life, and immeasurable devotion arose. The lama also gave him a golden statue that he had found in the forest when he was a child, and performed a ceremony to enthrone him as the master of the teachings. For twelve years, they shared the same pillow and listened to the instructions, and the bodhicitta of cherishing others more than oneself arose in his heart. Then he went to India and became the abbot of Vikramaśīla. His activities spread throughout the east, west, and center. All the communities revered him as their crown jewel without any bias. Through teaching and practice, he propagated the doctrine of sutra and tantra. Tārā and Khasarpaṇi, and many lamas such as Rāhula, prophesied that if he went to Tibet, it would benefit the teachings and sentient beings in general, and in particular, it would benefit a certain female patron, and her lineage would propagate the teachings. Based on the repeated invitations from the uncle and nephew Lha Lama Yeshe-Ö, who were prophesied by the Buddhas, he went to Tibet. He looked upon the ignorant sentient beings of Tibet with compassion. He refuted the distorted views and practices through reasoning. He led them onto the correct path. He lit the lamp of the sacred Dharma. He burned the thickets of wrong views. He opened the eye of wisdom to see the nature of reality. He distinguished between Dharma and non-Dharma. On the field of fortunate disciples, he planted the seeds of bodhicitta, and poured down the rain of eloquent nectar, causing the harvest of liberation to ripen. In particular, he filled the wisdom palace of his chief disciple Dromtönpa with the jewels of realization, thus continuing the treasure of the precious Kagyu lineage. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Like opening a treasure chest, it dispels all the decay in the snowy mountains and greatly expands the glory of auspiciousness, 1-676 making all beings in this direction have protectors. Therefore, know that the teachings of the glorious Marme Dze (dPal ldan Mar me mdzad, 尊胜燃灯佛) lineage, like a chain of golden mountains, are more compassionate to the people of the snowy regions than even the Buddhas. Therefore, 'Brom ston pa rGyal ba'i 'byung gnas (仲敦巴·嘉瓦炯乃: Source of the Victorious Ones), the great lifeline of the teachings, who saw the faces of many Yidam deities such as Arya Tara, and in the next life, obtained the sign of going to Tushita to be in the presence of Jowo (Jo bo, 尊者,通常指释迦摩尼佛像) himself, became the only eye for the beings of the northern direction. To him, generally, all the Sutras, Vinaya, Abhidharma, and secret instructions were given as if pouring out of a full vase, and especially, it is said that this instruction was secretly taught as if giving a cherished heart jewel. Therefore, to the three chief sons and some worthy disciples, he taught, and especially to Po to ba Rin chen gsal ba (博朵瓦·仁钦赛: Precious Illumination), who is said to be an incarnation of the great Arhat Yana Lag 'byung (功德生), who had more than two thousand monks who gave up this life, and who single-mindedly took on the task of studying, contemplating, and meditating on the teachings, not allowing even a moment of thought or action towards the eight worldly concerns (gain and loss, praise and blame, fame and disgrace, pleasure and pain), 1-677 even actions such as going and coming were only temporary appearances and encounters, without preparation or planning, becoming a great banner of the teachings, he gave this teaching to him. Therefore, among the eight great sons of the lineage holders, known as the sun and moon of U-Tsang (卫藏,西藏中部地区), Sha ra ba Yon tan grags (霞惹瓦·云丹扎: Fame of Merit), who possessed the vast eye of Dharma, and Langtangpa Dorje Sengge (朗塘巴·多吉僧格: Vajra Lion), the lord of Bodhicitta, he poured out the essence of mind training, condensing the essence of the instructions and giving them in a hidden manner. Sharawa himself saw the faces of many Yidam deities, and the light of wisdom expanded for the inconceivable Dharma, and it is said that his innate wisdom was unmatched in this direction. Therefore, Rin po che Chags kha ba Ye shes rdo rje (仁波切·恰喀瓦·益西多吉: Wisdom Vajra) asked him, and this Chags khawa, was well-versed in both the old and new tantras of the Nyingma school, and from a young age, spontaneously enjoyed taking on the suffering of others, possessing the ability to expand the Mahayana lineage, and at the age of twenty-six, in Yarlung, he heard Langtangpa's 'Eight Verses on Mind Training' from the virtuous friend Nyang lcags zhing pa, and therefore developed great faith in the teachings of the Kadampa school. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
