When the six consciousnesses arise, for the sake of benefiting sentient beings, to the Bodhisattvas abiding on the ten Bhumis (Bhumi, the ten stages of a Bodhisattva's practice), one appears as Vajradhara (Vajradhara, the Diamond Holder) adorned with marks and signs (lakṣaṇa, the thirty-two major marks of a Buddha). To the six realms (gati, the six destinations of sentient beings in cyclic existence), one appears as emanations (nirmāṇakāya, one of the three bodies of a Buddha, an emanation for the benefit of sentient beings) appropriate to their respective capacities and circumstances, and teaches the Dharma. Therefore, this is called the 'view of transference at the time of death.' These are the words of the great master Padmasambhava (Padmasambhava) of Oddiyana (Oḍḍiyāna, an ancient Indian region, the origin of Tantric Buddhism), recorded as they arose. These are the ways to attain the ultimate fruit, and even in the interim, if a qualified practitioner diligently applies themselves to this path, they will realize the actual accomplishment (siddhi, accomplishment) of the Buddhas' minds, and in order to accomplish the intentions of all the Buddhas, they will engage in the four activities (karmāṇi, pacifying, increasing, magnetizing, and subjugating) without obstruction, thereby accomplishing the benefit of all sentient beings, perfectly accumulating the merit of virtue, and being constantly blessed by hundreds of thousands of Vidyadharas (vidyādhara, mantra holders) and Dakinis (ḍākiṇī, female deities or practitioners), all wishes will be fulfilled, all obstacles and gathering illnesses will be destroyed, the Vidyadhara of longevity will be attained, all good qualities will be perfected, spontaneous wisdom (sahaja-jñāna, innate wisdom) will be realized, and retinues and enjoyments will increase, constantly enjoying the glory of auspiciousness. As it is said in the Nirvana Sutra: 'Any qualified Vidyadhara yogi will surely accomplish the secret mind accomplishment, and all intentions will surely be fulfilled. Through the activities of all the Buddhas, for the benefit of sentient beings, there will be no obstruction in the four activities. For the powerful yogi, this practice that I have taught is very supreme, capable of eliminating obstacles to accomplishment and so forth. This is the supreme practice yoga, perfectly completing all accumulations of merit, constantly blessed by hundreds of thousands of Vidyadharas and Dakinis, everything will be accomplished as desired, all harm will be pacified, all gathering illnesses will be destroyed, the Vidyadhara of longevity will be fully attained, all qualities will be perfectly accomplished, spontaneous wisdom will be realized, retinues and enjoyments will all increase, and the glory of auspiciousness will be fully enjoyed.' Furthermore, regarding the signs of accomplishment of Vajrakila (Vajrakīla, a deity and its ritual dagger), the Kīlātantra says: 'There are twenty-one signs of accomplishment, seven each for body, speech, and mind. The seven signs of the body are: the Vajrakila shakes, jumps, floats, sparks appear, light appears, smoke appears, the Vajrakila smiles. The seven signs of speech are: ...'

The seven earth signs are: The sound arising from the Phurba (vajra kīla), the sound of mantras, the sound of meteoric iron, the sound of thunder, the sound of drums, the sound of jackals, and the roaring sound of vajra demons. The seven signs of the mind are: Being able to wield samadhi, Accomplishing the four activities, having power over life, the five families becoming manifest, the deities appearing clearly, the Phurba's guardians working like servants, and the wisdom being appearing clearly.' As said above, this is the best case. Even in the intermediate case, in dreams; in the worst case, in experiences, it is impossible for these signs not to appear. Here it is said: Profound beyond profound, the path of Vajrakīla. This is the intention of the mind of Samantabhadra. The five Buddha families, Vajrasattva, and The mind transmission of the three family protectors (Avalokiteśvara, Mañjuśrī, Vajrapāṇi). Possessed by vidyādharas such as gods, nāgas, and humans. Especially from the masters who are holders, In the land of snows, Tibet, it came through the kindness of Padmasambhava. And this is precisely what the great translator Klog-ru'i-dbang-po Carefully gathered with his immeasurable wisdom. Placed at the top of the treasure house of profound and vast teachings of the Sakya school, the lord of the teachings of the land of snows. After this was established in the land of snows, Tibet, It is known as 'the Jetsun Father Teachings of the Sakya school'. This fame is like the horse star in the midst of the stars. The excellent path is not common to all without limit. Why is this said? Because this supreme deity, Is more powerful and potent than other deities, and its activities are swifter. That is because in a past age, In order to subdue the black Rudra (Rūdra), who had strayed onto the wrong path, In Akanishta (Ogmin), all the Buddhas conferred. After conferring, in order to subdue the difficult-to-tame beings, They gathered together the power of all the Buddhas. Manifesting as the form of the great powerful Vajrakumara, Angrily slaying the demons including Rudra. After slaying them, from then on, the supreme vehicle appeared. The teachings of secret mantra began from there. In the middle, Padmasambhava Practiced this supreme deity yidam, With his amazing power and miraculous abilities, Subduing the three realms, dominating the three existences, Spreading the Buddha's teachings and placing beings in happiness. Finally, the successive Jetsuns of the Sakya school Made this the heart essence of their mind practice, The accomplished heroes, with the light of their activities, Placed the teachings and beings in the glory of benefit and happiness. This is a teaching that is not common to all. Therefore, shouldn't we, the fortunate followers, Have faith in this? Especially in this day and age... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
