When the root-knot where all the channels converge opens, wisdom will come. When the root-knot at the eyebrow center where all the channels remain opens, wisdom will come. Then, the prophecy of the Ḍākinī will appear, and in order to enhance the teachings, practice by leading the mudrā. Then, by practicing for one day, subdue the demons in the evening, and at dawn, become perfectly enlightened as a Buddha. [Bliss and non-thought are stable.] Also, in the second chapter of the 'Later Examination,' it is determined that enlightenment will be attained after three months and six days. Arranging the completion stage of Tummo as a condition for one person. The Completion Stage of the Illusory Body ༈ After explaining the completion stage of Tummo, the completion stage of the illusory body has three stages: preliminary, main practice, and subsequent practice. Among these, the preliminary practice includes protection and accumulating merit, as with the aforementioned practice of Tummo, but it is not actually practiced. The main practice has five aspects: first, cultivate the awareness of dreams; second, cause dreams to arise even when they do not arise; third, recognize dreams as dreams; then, expand the dreams; and finally, purify them. Among these, the first is: 2-1-53b All phenomena are like dreams. Whatever happiness arises is like a dream. Whatever suffering arises is like a dream. One should repeatedly generate a strong intention of this kind. Whatever happiness arises is like a dream, for example, I, until yesterday, enjoyed the five desirable qualities, and enjoying them in a dream last night, there is no difference at all compared to today, they are the same. Whatever suffering arises [like an illusion] is also like a dream, for example, the death of parents or experiencing many physical and mental sufferings until yesterday, [experiencing in a dream and in reality] and experiencing physical and mental suffering in a dream last night, there is no difference at all compared to today. Therefore, one should repeatedly generate the awareness that all happiness and suffering are like dreams. Since all phenomena are like dreams, now I will dream a dream, one should repeatedly generate a strong intention of this kind. Moreover, do not dream a bad dream, but dream a wonderful dream, see the pure land of the Buddha. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Seeing the face of the Yidam deity (Tibetan: ཡི་དམ་ལྷ, Sanskrit Devanagari: इष्टदेवता, Sanskrit Romanization: iṣṭadevatā, Literal Chinese meaning: Heart-bound deity), traveling through immeasurable realms, or walking in the sky, or fire blazing from the upper body and water flowing from the lower body, or meeting Pulahari (Indian Buddhist master), etc., one should repeatedly cherish the desire to have such wondrous dreams. It is not enough to merely dream; one should also repeatedly cherish the strong desire to recognize the dream as a dream. Thus, today, one should focus on these thoughts throughout the day, and at night, lying on a comfortable bed, one should think in the same way. Then, to prevent falling asleep, one should adopt the following method: lying comfortably on the bed, reclining on the right side in the lion posture, place the four seed syllables of Anuttara (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Literal Chinese meaning) on the four-petaled chakra at the throat. [Second], place Om (Tibetan: ཨོཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ॐ, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Om) in the center, and then gradually gather the mind and meditate. It is said that if one practices in this way, one will not fall asleep. Hold the mind on a small white dot between the eyebrows. If the awareness is too focused, one will still not fall asleep, so relax the awareness and hold the mind in a state where it does not wander elsewhere. Then comes the dream [Third], recognizing the dream as a dream: through the power of previous desires and habitual tendencies, dreams will arise, and one will recognize the dream as a dream. For example, if one has seen some lively scenes today, then tonight one will dream of those scenes; if one has seen a grand performance, then as one falls asleep, one will dream of horses and silks, etc. Similarly, through the power of previous desires and thoughts, [such things will happen], one will recognize the dream as a dream, thinking, 'This is a person in a dream,' 'This is a horse in a dream,' and so on. Then, one should expand the dream: if one dreams of one person in the dream, visualize them as two, then four, five, six. Expand in this way, visualizing the entire world filled with people. If one dreams of a cow or a dog [Fourth], etc., one should also expand and visualize in this way. Practicing the dream: visualize all the many people or cows that one dreams of as the mandala of the Yidam deity (Tibetan: ཡི་དམ་ལྷ, Sanskrit Devanagari: इष्टदेवता, Sanskrit Romanization: iṣṭadevatā, Literal Chinese meaning: Heart-bound deity), appearing with a palace, but essentially empty, experiencing them in the nature of indivisible bliss and emptiness [Fifth]. The Lama said that when one recognizes the dream as a dream, an experience of indivisible bliss and emptiness arises, and expanding and practicing the dream are branches of it.
