布施!’(བྷཻ་ཧེ་ཡ་བླང་བླང་,Bhai he ya blang blang)。

Then, he went to pay homage to Maitripa (རྒྱལ་བ་མེ་ཏྲི་བ་, Buddha Maitripa), Shri Jnanasara (དཔལ་ཡེ་ཤེས་སྙིང་པོ་), and the lamas, offering a golden mandala. After that, just as he arrived at Pulahari (པུ་ལ་ཧ་རིར་), it was said that Jetsun Naropa (རྗེ་ན་རོ་པ་) had departed into conduct and was not residing anywhere. It is said that in former times, Jetsun Naropa would engage in four sessions of practice each day, and in between sessions, he would give teachings. Then, having abandoned all supports and texts, he left the following as the translator's inheritance: one thangka of Hevajra (ཧེ་བཛྲ), the Guhyasamaja (གསང་བ་འདུས་པ), and the root tantras of the three—Hevajra (དགྱེས་མཛད་), Chakrasamvara (འཁོར་ལོ་བདེ་མཆོག). a kapala (ཀ་པ་ལ་ཅིག), a bhagali (བསག་ཀ་ལི་ཅིག), and a parasol (གདུགས་ཅིག), saying, 'Give these to the Tibetan translator who is to come.' And so he departed. Jetsun Naropa himself, carrying a black cotton angarak (ཨང་ཀ་རེག་ནག་པོ་ཅིག), a tiger skin seat from Sri Lanka (ཁྲི་གཉན་ས་ལེའི་), a damaru (ཌ་མ་རུ་), the five mudras (ཕྱག་རྒྱ་ལྔ), and a skull cup (ཐོད་པ་), engaged in conduct. He only allowed the old disciples to serve as masters of the tsokhor, and only answered simple questions about what was uncomfortable in the Dharma. Other than blessings, he engaged in the conduct of a madman, always saying, 'Give! Give!' Once, he met a group of robbers and said, 'Give! Give!' to them, and they struck his skull cup with four sharp knives, causing the nectar to melt like butter in a hot pan, and he drank it. Another time, he said 'Give! Give!' to a yogi, and the yogi gave him a damaru and a curved knife, which he also put into his skull cup, and they melted and he drank them. Then, when Jetsun Marpa Lotsawa (རྗེ་མར་པ་ལོ་ཙྪ་བ་) arrived, Naropa was wandering in the charnel grounds of the twenty-four sacred places (ཡུལ་ཉི་ཤུ་རྩ་བཞིའི་དུར་ཁྲོད་), residing without any fixed abode. At that time, a close attendant named Geshe Sherab Senge (དགེ་ཚུལ་ཤེས་རབ་སེང་གེ་) returned all the abandoned items. Then, Marpa went with Jetsun Pentapa (རྗེ་པེན་ཏ་བ་) to search for Naropa, and they met him in the land of Otebi Sha (ཨོ་ཊེ་བི་ཤའི་ཡུལ་), near Shri Parvata (རྒྱ་གར་ལྷོ་ཕྱོགས་སུ་དཔལ་གྱི་རི་) in southern India. At that time, Jetsun Naropa gave the teachings of the Shri Guhyasamaja (དཔལ་གསང་བ་འདུས་པ), the great non-dual tantra, the Samatavijaya Tantra (མཉམ་པ་ཉིད་རྣམ་པར་རྒྱལ་བའི་རྒྱུད) of three thousand five hundred shlokas (ཤུ་ལོ་ཀ་སུམ་སྟོང་ལྔ་བརྒྱ་པ་). It is said that the Sanskrit original of this scripture was also found in Dulkhedra (དུལ་ཁེ་དྲར་), Shri Jnanasara (དཔལ་ཡེ་ཤེས་སྙིང་པོ་), and Shri Singhaladvipa (དཔལ་སིང་ག་གླིང་པ་), and was translated at that time. After that, Marpa also heard many teachings from Maitripa Around that time, there was a yogi named Bhaling Acharya (བྷ་ལིང་ཨ་ཙརྱ་), the abbot of Nalendra (ན་ལེན་ཏྲའི་), who had attained siddhi through torma offerings and had seen Krishna Yamari (གཤིན་རྗེ་གཤེད་ནག་པོ་). Marpa also heard many teachings from him. After that, Jetsun Marpa went to eastern India... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

When venerable Marpa (Jo-bo Khong-sar-pa) went to Gha-gha-la-na to visit the self-arisen temple, he wanted to meet and talk with a crazy spirit. For this purpose, he slightly prepared many foods in a house called Tso-pa-ra to make offerings, and asked about its history. For everything else, it was not more knowledgeable than the venerable one, but it knew a lot about Ma-ha-ma-ya. Later, venerable Naropa (Je Na-ro-pa) was very attached to Ma-ha-ma-ya and repeatedly asked. Naropa said, 'I don't have time, but in the Klag-sha jungle of the southern Poison Sea Continent, there is a person named Glorious Peaceful Good (Dpal Zhi-ba bzang-po), who is a close disciple of the Glorious Kurukulle (Dpal Ku-ru kul-le) lineage, go and ask him.' That person has a very ugly appearance and is difficult to approach. You and a Brahmin boy named Golden Garland go together, two yogis One with the blessing that poison cannot harm, one with the blessing that ghosts and spirits cannot harm, and then go. For half a month, he received initiations and mantras, etc., and completed them perfectly. After that, regarding the sacred teachings of Glorious Guhyasamaja (Dpal gsang-ba 'dus-pa), the venerable one, with the vast lineage of Glorious Wisdom Essence (Dpal Ye-shes snying-po), the Singhala Islander (Sing-ga gling-pa), and venerable Naropa, completed the teachings such as the 'Lamp Treatise'. At venerable Naropa's place, he received the great initiation of the complete stage of the Glorious Guhyasamaja, as well as other initiations and blessings of instructions, and also the tantra of the Glorious Mayajala, the King of Great Bliss (Dpal sgyu-ma bde-mchog rgyal-po) transmitted from Indra-bho-dhi, and the teachings and instructions of the Buddha Skull Garland Tantra transmitted from Glorious Saraha, were also given a lot. He also heard the instructions of the four scroll parts. He heard the instructions of the Kagyu lineage and the three paths, as well as the instructions on transforming afflictions into the path, etc. After that, the venerable one wanted to return to Tibet, so he bid farewell to his guru and crossed the Gha-gha River by boat with the crazy spirit. At this time, the crazy spirit slandered the venerable one and threw all the teachings of the Glorious Guhyasamaja into the water. He said, 'Because I have faults, it is enough to copy my version.' Venerable Marpa also thought it was true, so he copied it in Nepal. Now (the spirit) says, 'We are going to Tibet.' Because of the plague, when they arrived at Khara, the venerable one offered many horse armors and gold and jewels, saying, 'Now don't say that, tell me about your maternal lineage. If you talk about the paternal lineage, who will listen to me?' So he didn't give it (to the spirit), There he went to Lho-brag. After that, when the venerable one returned to his homeland, he did not stay for long, because there were no scriptures of the sacred teachings of the Glorious Guhyasamaja, he felt uneasy, so he prepared a lot of gold again. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
