When I speak, this Re Mtsar (name of a person) thinks, what is the purpose and destination of speaking like this? Apart from feeling a little surprised, he doesn't seem to understand anything. I have heard that I, who am helpless and unfortunate, have also heard such words many times in the blessed ears. If you have a little feeling about this and think carefully, you will know whether he is the king of asceticism, the yogi of renunciation, or the illusory person. Some people see him getting married and starting a family, and think that there is nothing more important than this, so they doubt how he could be an ascetic. However, he himself wanted to be an enemy-free and kinless person, with the mountains as his son and the mist as his clothes, alone like a wild animal, only going to secluded places with no fixed abode such as Pobo Gawa Lung (name of a place). But because Vajradhara Padma Nyinje (name of a person) did not allow it, he settled down in this direction. Even at that time, it was only a way of behaving like a wild animal, but gradually, many miscellaneous people appeared in my retinue, which was caused by the actions of past karma, so there is no way, now I can only support them. He said this, and people who do not understand the biographies of the great Bodhisattvas will indeed have such doubts as mentioned above. However, in the eyes of wise people who understand the reason, this is the behavior of a Bodhisattva, and those who live in his retinue are also very fortunate. This is just a digression. He never feels tired or懈怠, even for a moment, for the sake of benefiting Buddhism and sentient beings. He also said, what way is there to let others waste their lives? It is difficult for anyone to guess the true thoughts in his heart. The closer you get, the more unfathomable you feel, so he fits the meaning of "deep in heart". And those behaviors that are merely pretending to be like children are actually true biographies, but how would most people know? This is also excusable. In short, throughout his life, he has been studying, contemplating, and meditating, teaching, writing, holding, and propagating, and he is a common model for all those who uphold Buddhism. Moreover, he himself widely seeks knowledge, so he is proficient in common culture, writing and reading.

From the common vehicle up to the unsurpassed Vajrayana, there is not a single initiation, transmission, instruction, discourse, or practice, down to the most subtle, of the three pitakas and four classes of tantra that he did not hear. Examining the contents of the vast record of his teachings, which fills two volumes, it seems as if he spent his entire life listening. When we see him giving initiations, transmissions, and instructions of the old and new Kadam lineages, it seems as if he spent his entire life teaching. Unlike some who, after having superficially studied and contemplated a certain subject, become eager to ask questions and write, composing a few articles for fame and competition, and then call it a "Collected Works," he was like a lifeline for the continuation of the non-sectarian teachings. His biography, which includes ninety volumes of writings, headed by the Five Great Treasures, is astonishing, and it seems as if he spent his entire life writing. When we examine the way he practiced the approach and accomplishment, and the experiential cultivation of the ocean of Sutra and Tantra of the old and new schools, it seems as if he spent his entire life in retreat. The biography of Je Tsongkhapa is certainly an inconceivable realm of the noble ones. This situation is not just exaggerated praise because he is one's own lama, but it is certainly a true depiction that accords with reality, as is clear to the minds of the wise. Having accomplished such inconceivable and boundless activities until the age of eighty-seven, he approached the time of passing away for the benefit of other beings. In the years just before that, he did not leave any secret instructions that were not made public, even to his closest disciples and lineage holders. To someone as lowly as myself, who served him for a long time and remained here, he said: "Now, all the important activities, headed by the Great Treasures, have been completed."
