Here are the respectfully presented items. During the request for transmission (oral transmission), before the feet of the peerless glorious and venerable Lama, offerings are made for the purpose of requesting the nectar of the sacred Dharma. And so on. Among these, the five Dharmas of the Great Vehicle and Secret Mantra are called "The Nectar of the Sacred Dharma of the Great Vehicle." For the category of instructions, it is translated as "For the purpose of requesting the profound stages of liberating instructions." For the thoughts of sentient beings and the differences in their intelligence, I pray that the wheel of Dharma of the great and small common vehicles may be turned. Thus, one prays. At that time, the expounder should recite in a low voice this mantra for cutting off demons, which comes from the Sutra Requested by Sagacious Ocean: Tadyatha. Shame, Shamavati, Shamita Shatru, Ankure, Makure, Mara Jite, Karo Tri, Keyure, Uko Haya Ti, Bisha Thani Rma Le, Mala Panaya, Ukhare, Karo Grazase, Grasane, Hey Mukhi, Para Mukhi, A Mukhi, Shamita Ni Sarva Graha, Bandhanani, Ni Grahitva, Sarva Mara Pravadino Vimukta Mara Prashasta Rita, Buddha Mudra, Samurghatita Sarva Mara Karmi. And from the Precious Collection Sutra: Tadyatha. Ava Me, Ava Me, Ama Vare, Ama Vare, Pari Kunja, Nada Nada Pushkara Maha, Jalu Kha, Ma Khaya, Ili Mili, Kili Mili, Kirti Tsara Mudre, Mutra Mukhe Svaha. Reciting this lineage mantra with the melody of Brahma binds the obstacles. As mentioned above, one should clearly establish the generation of bodhicitta and samadhi. Whoever dwells on the golden Mount Meru, together with Mandala and the gods and yakshas; whoever dispels the darkness with the light of jewels, the nagas dwelling beneath the earth; whoever enjoys glory in the snowy mountains, the vidyadharas who are exceedingly joyful; all of these, in order to become the gateway to the sacred path of liberation, to hear the words of the Able One, please come here! The lords of gods, asuras, and humans, and Indra and others who have done deeds in the direction of the Dharma, the Buddha's words are the cause of great peace and happiness, in order to hear the exposition of this sacred Dharma, please come here! Whoever in the ten thousand worlds, all who are with the disciples of the Sugata, today the teacher will

The rain of Dharma will fall! All who wish to listen, please come here! Thus, one urges. In the case of collected works of ordinary individuals or at the end of daily recitations, etc., one would say: Disciples of the Teacher, any sentient beings, all who dwell in this world, please listen! Today, the rain of the Teacher's Dharma will fall! Whoever wishes to listen, please listen! The language of gods, and the language of nagas and yakshas, and the languages of drum-bums (ग्रुल बुम,梵文:ghru-bum,romanized Sanskrit: ghru-bum, literal meaning: earthen pot) and humans, and as many sounds as there are of all beings, in all languages I will teach the Dharma. Only this much is said. Secondly, if one wishes to elaborate slightly, as at the beginning of a major discourse or instruction, then, in order to lead all sentient beings, as numerous as the milk-like expanse of the sky, from the great ocean of suffering of samsara, and to firmly establish them in the precious state of unsurpassed enlightenment, for that purpose, one should properly receive the nectar of the sacred Dharma and diligently train in the stages of the path. One should generate such a pure intention. When listening to the Dharma, one must listen well, free from the three faults of the vessel, the six stains, and the thirty-six faults. The three faults are: like a vessel turned upside down, not even a drop of the rain of nectar will enter; one does not pay attention to the Dharma, or even if one does, one is distracted by sleepiness, drowsiness, amusement, or other things. And like a vessel with a hole in the bottom, even if it fills with rainwater while on the ground, it will all leak out; one hears the Dharma once and remembers it at that time, but because one does not repeatedly familiarize oneself with it, one forgets it. And like a vessel filled with poison, even if it is not emptied, no one will be willing to use it; one is controlled by afflictions and becomes even more arrogant by hearing the Dharma. Therefore, one is advised to avoid these three faults. The "Garland of Middle Way" states: Listen well and keep it in mind, and I will explain it to you. Therefore, listen well without afflictions, listen without turning your mouth downward, and keep it in mind without a hole in the bottom. The six stains are, as stated in the "Commentary on Valid Cognition": Pride and disbelief, lack of interest, outward distraction, inward contraction, listening with weariness, are the six stains. Like having some merit due to one's lineage, etc.
