Being under the sway of these degenerate times, even if the Buddha were to appear and teach the Dharma, it would be difficult to gain faith, except for acting bewildered. What use are so many worldly words? Nevertheless, taking up the words of the holy ones, I have briefly and spontaneously spoken and offered them. May this benefit those who are connected to it! This was spoken by Yönten Gyatso at the request of the vidyādhara yogi named Mangala. May it be virtuous! O Dharma King, youthful moonbeam, sun of the lotus, please turn my mind and the minds of the faithful toward the Dharma. This precious human body, complete with the eight freedoms and ten endowments, is obtained only for a moment, like a kingdom in a dream. Impermanence is like dew on the grass and a butter lamp in the wind. While you have even a moment of freedom, strive in the Dharma, and, wise friend, liberate yourself! There are so many things to learn that it is impossible to reach the end. Even among those who learn, few are wise enough to integrate it into their being. Although the intelligence of those who do and know many things is great, they waste their lives in sleep and distraction. Ignorant like me, I regret deceiving myself. Parents and friends are obstacles on the path to liberation. Meat, alcohol, and beautiful forms are the stones that lure one into the depths of the lower realms. Actions that masquerade as Dharma but are not are whips that beat oneself. Holding onto worldly concepts cuts off the opportunity for profound Dharma. Shamelessly pretending to be accomplished when one is not is a demon that destroys the teachings of the Victorious Ones. Proclaiming secret Dharma in the marketplace is a demon that violates the samaya of secret mantra. Having freed yourself from such great places of downfall, please proceed on the excellent path of the unerring, profound essence! Aho! Having written down the key points of view and practice, there are no mistakes, and there is nothing more to say. However, leaving the natural flow of innate, ordinary awareness in its natural state, without fabrication or correction, and remaining in ordinariness without losing mindfulness, when the guru who establishes and refutes, who grasps and is grasped, dissolves into dharmata, and a certainty arises about the nature of the primordially liberated dharmakaya, then it is fine whether there is view and practice or not. Since one's own being has become one with the Dharma, the signs of concordant appearances, where inner signs manifest outwardly, are the natural radiance of the severance of the connection of grasping and the grasped. In this case, not only is worldly non-Dharma irrelevant, but even the holy Dharma should not be practiced with desire and pride; all attachments should be completely cleared away.

This is the secret path of Sangye, the great renunciate yogi. May it be quickly transferred to the hearts of fortunate and holy beings. May we follow in the footsteps of the ocean of Kagyu siddhas. This was offered by unchanging Tshewang with unwavering faith, to dispel doubts about practice, from Kunzang Dechen Odsel Ling in Palpung Hermitage, may it be auspicious! Vajradhara with the name of Padmasambhava. Descendants follow, turning their minds to the Dharma. Since my own lineage is not mixed with the Dharma, Explaining the Dharma to others is like a parrot's song. If you have not experienced the meaning of the sutras, Words of explanation are like a rainbow in the sky, many and vain. In general, in this degenerate age, there is no true Dharma, Especially, the forms of Dharma are contrary to the Dharma. If the practice does not meet the rock-solid, Practicing the Dharma for many years deceives oneself. At the time of death, there is no reliance. Now there is no certainty of not dying, And if you die, you have no idea where to go. Body, possessions, retinue, friends, Like birds on a tree, they quickly scatter. Remember impermanence constantly. If you do not remember death from the depths of your heart, There is no time to be free from the eight worldly concerns, Whatever you do becomes a tool for this life. The union of Dharma and worldly affairs, Good words and good deeds on the surface, Is the cause of harm to oneself and others. Do not aspire to be in that category, Remember the liberation path of the Kagyu. At the beginning of the session, take refuge, Generate pure bodhicitta. Make sure to increase and transform appearances. The main part is to visualize your own body as the deity of the, Fourfold perfection. From the parts to the complete, Focus on each one. By practicing in this way, both shamatha and vipassana are accomplished, and calm abiding is also achieved. In particular, in Guru Yoga, Establish devotion as the sole foundation. Maintain the natural flow of the unmade mind. At the end, dedicate and aspire with the three spheres pure. The so-called Mahamudra Fivefold, Is the essence of all sutras, tantras, and shastras. It is the legacy of the father Kagyu lamas who have passed away. If one has faith and diligence, and is not distracted, One can attain the actual Vajradhara in one lifetime. Especially, in Mahamudra samadhi, When the previous thought has ceased, And the next thought has not arisen, the present, Awareness itself is unmade and naked. Rest in this state, let it be natural. Whatever thoughts arise, The root of their origin, dwelling, and cessation, Not just once, but repeatedly cut them off. Oh!
