Briefly mentioning the necessity of making offerings: All those with eyes should offer to the field of merit and the supreme protector, the omniscient Karma Kagyu Situ Rinpoche. From the very beginning, he has manifested enlightenment in the realm of Dharma, and his activities are perfectly inexhaustible. However, through the power of impartial great compassion, he constantly and tirelessly benefits sentient beings equal to the sky for as long as samsara exists. As it is said in the Sutra of the Meeting of Father and Son: "Great hero, skillful in means, for hundreds of billions of eons, you show the attainment of Buddhahood. To fully ripen all sentient beings, you, the guide, constantly manifest countless Buddhas." Thus, in some realms, he demonstrates the activity of complete perfect enlightenment, in some realms, he manifests as Bodhisattvas and Shravakas, and in other realms, he manifests as Chakravartin kings, Brahma, Ishvara, sun, moon, jewels, medicinal herbs, boats, bridges, etc., benefiting sentient beings through various skillful emanations. In the future, when the age of virtue arises, in which beings can live to be eighty thousand years old, the fifth guide of the fortunate eon, the Tathagata named Maitreya, the Protector, will awaken and become a Buddha. However, the activity of the Buddha will not be interrupted by this. As it is said in the Ornament of the Sutras: "The prince relies on the most excellent diligence, and for the sake of benefiting sentient beings, he engages in diligence again. To cause a single virtuous thought to arise in the minds of others, he will not be weary even in thousands of billions of eons." Thus, until the end of samsara, he will continue to benefit sentient beings immeasurably. Especially in worlds like this one, where the five degenerations are rampant, he will generate great compassion and diligence, and to liberate beings without a protector, he will don the great armor of fearlessness. As it is said in the Ornament of the Sutras: "The compassionate one who is diligent in benefiting others, at any time, finds happiness even in hell. Such an independent one who relies on others, how could they fear the arising of suffering?" Thus, he manifests the meaning of that. Now, repeatedly appearing in the realms of samsara, there is not even a particle of thought for his own benefit. As it is said in the Compendium: "The nature of great

As it is said, "To mature all sentient beings, and to purify the Buddha-field, is solely for the purpose of perfecting the pāramitās." Thus, cultivating the Buddha-field solely for the benefit of others, maturing all sentient beings, and accomplishing the meaning of the six pāramitās, is to demonstrate these principles. Therefore, the inconceivable conduct is solely the domain of the Buddhas. Even in the partial appearances of ordinary beings, it is said that in the realm of Tushita, the Regent Maitreya is the protector; in Sukhavati, the great bodhisattva Dharmakara and others reside in the pure lands, playing in the form of oceanic princes, thus purifying the Buddha-fields. In India, great teachers such as the great scholar Ḍimbipa, Śrī Siṃha who attained the vajra body, and Dārikapa who possessed the immortal body, resided in the land of great siddhas, and propagated the teachings of the Vajrayana in various forms. During the early propagation of Buddhism in Tibet, Gyawa Jampel Sangwa or Gyimshang Zhap, mastered mantra and astrology, and surveyed the land for Samye Monastery. The translator Danma Tsemang, as an assistant to the translator, was favored by the King of Oddiyana, became the recipient of fierce mantras, and was the scribe for most of the yellow scrolls. During the later propagation, the heart-son of Naropa and Maitripa, the actual manifestation of Gyetsé, Lhodrak Marpa Lotsawa, was renowned throughout the snowy land of Tibet, and initiated the source of the Kagyu ocean of siddhas. Thereafter, in the form of one and many, he manifested various emanations to accomplish the benefit of beings. Among them, he emanated as Pangchen Ozer Lama, Jonang Jetsun Tāranātha, and many other wise and accomplished holy beings, thus widely propagating the Dharma. He emanated as Gyatsé Chögyal Rabten Kunsang Phak, Rinpungpa Ngawang Jigten Wangchuk, and other kings and princes, thus ruling the great earth according to Dharma. In particular, to uphold the life-force of the essential teachings of the practice lineage, he consciously took rebirth in successive lives. For example, the nephew of the incomparable Dagpo Lhaje, Gampopa Tsultrim Nyingpo, was the recipient of the realization of Mahamudra, and was empowered as regent by the glorious Dusum Khyenpa.
