Although there is no way to avoid death, one must act now in a way that one will not regret at that time. Think about what will happen after death. Even if one becomes a universal monarch after death, one cannot take a single morsel of food, a single piece of clothing, or a single piece of wealth. One cannot even take the lowest of slaves. The corpse is wrapped in clothes and tied with ropes, and everyone feels disgusted and wants to vomit. After a few days, not even a trace remains. The mind is involuntary, like a bird's feather carried away by the wind, traversing the terrifying and dangerous paths of the bardo. In an unfamiliar place with no knowledge of the afterlife, the black and white of karma will follow. Sins that have already been committed cannot be abandoned. Even though the holy Dharma and virtuous deeds are beneficial, if one does not strive to practice now, then no one will be able to help at that time. One should meditate in this way. In short, there is no way not to practice the Dharma now, and the Dharma cannot be left unattended. It must be combined with one's own mindstream. To combine with the mindstream, one must practice meditation. Moreover, one must gain stability so that at the time of death, one can be happy oneself, and others will say, "This is a pure practitioner," and become an object of offerings and worship. Someone has died, alas! Everyone is shouting, "Lama Khyen." If one does not realize that this will quickly come upon oneself, and although one knows that one will die someday, one always thinks that one will not die yet, and even if one knows when one will die, one has not gained stability. When encountering some misfortune, the mind is deluded by worldly appearances, and one engages in actions that contradict the Dharma. These people are truly meaningless. Previously, more than half of one's life has been wasted. Now, the Lord of Death is already at the door, so there is no time to think about food, wealth, clothing, fame, and so on. One must place one's body, speech, and mind on the path of the Dharma. For those who are leisurely and at ease, or who postpone things to later, what impact do these words have on their hearts? One should always think about not fearing death and not separating from this short-sighted thinking! Third, the law of karma is the root of all the immeasurable collections of Dharma spoken by the Buddhas. It is extremely profound and vast. Only by realizing the single taste can one truly understand the law of karma. Otherwise, ordinary people cannot understand it as it is. A virtuous cause brings about a happy result, and a non-virtuous cause brings about a suffering result.

It's mostly here. Among them, there are also the causes and effects of samsara and the causes and effects of liberation. First, the root of suffering in samsara lies in accumulating negative karma. That lies in afflictions. That also lies in the ignorance of clinging to the self. The root of ignorance or all afflictions is delusion. We all don't know where samsara comes from? What is the nature of samsara? How do the causes and effects of karma work, etc., it's all dark. Even if the lama explains or the understanding of listening and thinking is abandoned, like putting the mind in a place that has never been visited, this non-existent conceptual thought vaguely exists. It clings to what is not me as me. Relying on it, doubts about the meaning of truth arise, etc., and many inverted views arise. Relying on one's own body, enjoyment, etc., greed arises, and relying on it, pride, jealousy, stinginess, etc., arise. Relying on others, hatred arises, and relying on it, anger, resentment, etc., arise. If there are no these three poisonous afflictions, karma will not be accumulated. If there is no karma, there will be no result. Therefore, for the root of wandering in samsara, these three must be abandoned as much as possible. If we summarize the karma of samsara, it belongs to non-meritorious karma, that is, the ten non-virtuous deeds. Therefore, one will be reborn in the three lower realms. Meritorious karma, such as generosity and other virtuous deeds that are not held by the thought of transcending nirvana, will be reborn in the heavenly realms of gods and humans. Immovable karma, with clinging as the head of meditation, will be reborn in the form realm and the formless realm. In short, before the habits of conceptual thought are exhausted, the accumulation of merit will not be interrupted. With its power, the illusion of samsara will not be exhausted. Therefore, some foolish and hypocritical emptiness practitioners say that there is no need to value the results of karma, and that they have realized the nature of the mind, that is a great thief of Buddhism. The ten non-virtuous deeds are: knowingly committing, life has no size, even killing ants and mosquitoes, etc. Not giving, stealing other people's property. For those who hold precepts and have owners, etc., from the perspective of the object, it should not be violated. For pregnant women and those with fetuses, etc., from the perspective of time, it should not be violated. For the lama's circumambulation hall and the stupa's house, etc., from the perspective of location, it should not be violated. For the mouth and anus, etc., from the perspective of the path, it should not be violated.
