Sala. Om Vajra Ahara Hum. (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་བཛྲ་ཨཱ་ཧ་ར་ཧཱུྃ།, Sanskrit Devanagari:, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ vajra āhāra hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Om, Vajra, Food, Hum.) Om Vajra Dhupe Hum. (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་བཛྲ་ཨུཏྟ་ཕ་ལ་ཡེ་ཧཱུྃ།, Sanskrit Devanagari:, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ vajra uttaphalāye hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Om, Vajra, Supreme Fruit, Hum.) Om Vajra Visphuraye Hum. (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་བཛྲ་བི་སྥུ་ར་ཡེ་ཧཱུྃ།, Sanskrit Devanagari:, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ vajra visphurāye hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Om, Vajra, Radiating, Hum.) Om, Prithvi Devi Akaroh, etc., recite three times, and offer the inner offering with Om Ah Hum. Just as Shakya Lion Protector destroyed the armies of demons, so too may I conquer the demons, therefore I draw the mandala. Therefore, I beseech the empowered goddess to bless this ground. Reciting this three times, the goddess showed a joyful countenance and said: You are a supreme teacher, drawing the mandala for the benefit of sentient beings. Having granted permission, she dissolved into the ground, and one should contemplate that the ground has transformed into a golden foundation. Fifth, to hold with the mind: For the sake of accomplishing the benefit of sentient beings, goddess, please be my witness. With various precious powders, I will draw a meaningful mandala. Recite this and contemplate its meaning. Holding with gestures, taking it as an abbreviated ritual. The teacher rises and, holding the vajra and bell, remains in a state of non-conceptualization. Recite: Hum Shri Vajra Dhrika Hum Jah. (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ་ཤྲཱི་བཛྲ་དྷྲི་ཀ་ཧཱུྃ་ཛཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari:, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ śrī vajra dhṛka hūṃ jaḥ, Chinese literal meaning: Hum, Auspicious, Vajra, Holder, Hum, Jah.) One's self transforms into the king of wrathful deities, the wrathful vajra, transforming into a terrifying form. Visualize the deities of the mandala being summoned, appearing in the sky in front. Beseech them to consider this as a place of blessing. Having made this request, the deities appear in the center of the mandala. Offer prostrations and offerings with the mind. Contemplate that through their blessings, the platform is also filled with splendor. One's self enters the center of the platform, and on the soles of both feet, visualize the letter A transforming into various vajras, and in the two eyes, visualize the letters Ma and Ta transforming into the sun and moon. Recite: Vajra Drishti Ma Ta. (Tibetan: བཛྲ་དྲྀཥྚི་མ་ཊ།, Sanskrit Devanagari:, Sanskrit Romanization: vajra dṛṣṭi ma ṭa, Chinese literal meaning: Vajra Eye, Ma, Ta.) And look with wrathful eyes in all directions. Vigorously recite: Hum Hum. Brandishing the vajra, ringing the bell, and circumambulating to the right with vajra steps. Issuing the command: Hum. Gods, nagas, yakshas, gandharvas, and all spirits, rakshasas, flesh-eaters, whoever dwells in this place, quickly depart. The command of the vajra-holder has been issued, and those who do not leave, with the blazing vajra, from the head

Saying, "Strike the feet," and reciting the mantra of the four Hūṃs (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Seed syllable), fumigate with guggul. Sprinkle mustard seeds and perform intimidation with loud musical sounds. Visualize that from my heart emanates an unbearable cloud of wrathful deities, scattering all obstacles in the ten directions like cotton being blown away by the wind. Then, again, with the arrogance of wrathful Vajra, sing the song of "Hūṃ Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Seed syllable) Hūṃ Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Seed syllable)", brandishing the vajra, ringing the bell, and with a majestic demeanor, circumambulate the mandala three times with the vajra dance from the east to the lord of power. Sixth, the placement of the stake: Place four Singding stakes in front, anointed with sandalwood, bound with red threads and crests, and garlands of flowers. Visualize that the Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Seed syllable) emanating from your heart dissolves into the stake, completely transforming into the four deities: Limitless, Completely Victorious, Thunder, and Great Belly. Visualize the upper part as the form of a wrathful deity, and the lower part blazing like a one-pointed vajra. Recite "Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Seed syllable). Krodhaya saha treta treta phat" one hundred and eight times, ringing the bell. Recite "Oṃ ghagha ghataya ghātaya sarva duṣṭāṃ phat kīlāya kīla phat. Sarva pāpaṃ phat. Hūṃ Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Seed syllable). Vajra kīlāya. Vajra dhāra ājñā payati. Kāya vak citta. Vajra kīlāya hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Seed syllable) phat." Then, by placing the stakes in the four corners of the mandala, believe that the obstacles attain the state of luminous light from the core of their hearts. In brief, it is also accomplished by believing that there is only one stake filled with nectar and placing it. The protection wheel is to contemplate the completion of the protection wheel of the action ritual, or in brief, again, from the bellows of the nostrils, emanate countless various weapons such as vajras arising from Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Seed syllable) in the ten directions, completely cutting off all obstacles. When gathered back, visualize that the weapons gather together, forming a tent of five weapons, which becomes indestructible. Thus, believe. If this is done on the first day, then the Dharma protector torma offering assembly and subsequent rituals should be performed according to the action ritual. In the case of painted thangkas, these land rituals are not necessary, but initially offering a torma to the local deity is a common practice of the Nyingma school. If it is slightly expanded, after the action ritual, there is also a way to perform rituals such as the land deity, dispelling obstacles, placing the stake, and the protection wheel, so the distinctions should be understood. Second is the ritual of preparation: the land.
