Therefore, the yakshini's right rib was bitten, and because of the karma of previous lives, her life was not cut off, and the fire of suffering was burning. At that time, the dakinis Dharmadeva and Kokila saw her and felt compassion. They recited many mantras and healed the flesh wound, but the white bones did not heal, and she was still suffering. These two dakinis met with the accomplished ones during a long period of gathering and offering feasts. In order to stop the yakshini's conceptual thoughts, they made a request that was in accordance with her habits. The lamas also granted the request as above. The meaning of these is like a rosary strung with jewels. Its secret instruction is called the Jewel Rosary. He vowed to tell it. To whom did he vow to tell it? He vowed to tell it to those fortunate people of later generations. For what purpose is it told? It is told in order to attain the place of peace, happiness, and nirvana. He explained the meaning of the beginning, and now he explains the meaning of the main text. First, Luipa taught a secret instruction for encountering appearances. When asked, "Please tell me a secret instruction that is beneficial for this," the lama said, "The fault lies in not knowing oneself. If one knows oneself, without appearances, what is the importance of the appearance of form?" When asked, "What is knowing oneself?" he replied, "It is the wisdom of constant cessation and clear light." When it was said, "I do not know," he replied: "Unreal, constantly unceasing, Without beginning or end, pervading, That very thing is extremely profound, Like Malaya Miye." What is meant by "unreal"? To what does one say there is no reality? It refers to the fact that there is no reality in that suchness. For example, a flower in the sky is just a name, but it has no reality, so it does not form a shape or color, and therefore the conceptual thought of a sky flower ceases. Just like this example, for the unborn suchness, there is no reality formed anywhere, so it is called unreal. Is it just that no reality is formed, or is it that the continuum of all conceptual thoughts, such as things, appearances, emptiness, mind, consciousness, or arising from consciousness, ceases, and therefore it is called the wisdom of constant cessation and clear light? Then, if conceptual thought ceases, will wisdom also cease?

La. When thoughts cease, where would there be a thought called wisdom? It is said that the self-nature luminosity is continuous. That is, "in the continuous." What makes it continuous? Luminosity is continuous. For example, the light on a precious jewel is continuous. So, what is its own characteristic? "Boundless and pervasive." This is like artificial space, because it has no direction or boundary, so it has no edge and center. "Pervasive" means that, like it, from the highest peak of existence to the lowest hell of the gathering of fears, it is pervasive. The thing itself is extremely profound. It means that things are the yaksha woman's body's sickness and the mind's thoughts, and appearances and clinging, etc. Profound means that if all these are recognized as insubstantial luminosity, that is profound. Like the fire of Mount Malaya. This is a metaphor. Mount Malaya is a mountain. Just as in a great mountain, in the fire burning from four directions, all things such as grass, trees, sap, and soil, stones, and water appear as fuel for the fire. When all things are recognized as profound luminosity, all appearances are destroyed and recognized as luminosity. Therefore, thoughts awaken to dharmata, or are destroyed. If these have not arisen in the continuum, Lila asked: What is the teacher's teaching like? How can this be symbolized? Then, (the teacher) replied: How do you cling to things, born from the sea, yet cling to the mire? Bees, flowers, and nectar, if not possessed, what can be tasted? It means, how do you cling to the sea of things or the mire of samsara? Not good! You were also born in the ocean of birth, old age, sickness, and death in the beginning. Now you still cling to the body, disease, and heat, thinking they are things, so you cling to the mire of samsara and cannot be liberated from suffering. Flowers, the nectar of pistils, and bees must gather together to taste the sweet taste. If these are not possessed, one cannot taste the individual tastes. Likewise, you have not realized luminosity, and you are still particularly attached to the body and things.
