There is no doubt about liberation. This is the second contemplation guide. The fifth is: Gradually practice the three dark rooms. Mix all the causes and conditions of happiness and suffering together. In situations such as loss of strength, maintain your position. Practice all enjoyment and behavior. It is like this. That is to say, first, in a real dark room, if the signs appear constantly and become stable, this is called a medium dark room. Cover your head with a cloth and practice with the body posture the same as before. At first, the signs are slightly less clear than in the dark room. After getting used to it a little, the appearance of the signs is no different from the dark room. Then, the other body postures are the same as usual. Close your eyes and turn your eyeballs upwards, so that the key point of internal viewing is not mistaken. After practicing in this way, at first the signs appear very little. If the clarity is not different from before, then continue to practice, and after a few days the signs will become very numerous. If you feel that the empty form is less clear than before, this means that it is not yet suitable to practice the small dark room. For the time being, focus your attention on the previous practices. Practice the small dark room again, and the signs will become clear as before. In addition, there are some special methods for small dark rooms that cover the eyes. After getting used to the three dark rooms of large, medium, and small like this, first practice in a room with a little light. Then also practice in a place with very bright light. Then, during meditation, do not mistake the key point of the viewing method. During the breaks between meditation sessions, practice uncertain viewing methods, such as up, down, straight, left, right, etc. Similarly, practice uncertain viewing methods, such as opening the eyes, closing the eyes, half-opening the eyes, etc. Gradually, in all situations, the clear appearance of the empty form will appear. In addition, it is also necessary to mix all happiness and suffering, high and low, etc. That is to say, first, when a thorn is stuck in, or you hit your nose, or a slight cold or heat such as wind, sun, rain, or snow occurs naturally, or you deliberately go to those places, slightly experience the touch of cold and heat, and look at it with a generous attitude, and maintain the three unwavering states. At first, you may feel uneasy, but after getting used to it a little, the appearance of cold and heat will become clear. When the mind is focused, it will be free from identification, and the body's touch

Although experiencing discomfort, it is very easy to settle the mind upon it. Furthermore, by observing its own nature and meditating, the feeling of hot and cold will also be experienced without clinging to appearances. Similarly, applying this method to hunger, thirst, and fatigue, even if great illness and suffering ultimately befall, it can be transformed into the path. Similarly, when hearing unpleasant words or words that one does not like, even if discomfort arises immediately in the mind, one should observe the discomfort and the words themselves more closely. If one searches, one will recognize the nature of non-attachment, thereby practicing the unwavering three aspects of body, speech, and mind. Similarly, for any emotions that arise, such as sadness, joy, fear, excitement, pride, attachment, hatred, miserliness, jealousy, etc., practice in the same way, and they will naturally be liberated. Furthermore, for the fatigue of walking, carrying heavy loads, reciting, chanting scriptures, giving teachings, and other strenuous activities, as well as calculation, thinking, observation, and other strenuous activities, afterwards, due to the strong activity of the previous three aspects of body, speech, and mind, the power of thoughts will be strong. At this time, simply understand how to observe awareness, and by keeping the mind unwavering, awareness will manifest as clear emptiness, without beginning or end. Furthermore, when encountering pleasant sights, sounds, smells, tastes, and tactile sensations, one will feel joyful and elated; when encountering unpleasant and harmful sights, etc., one will feel displeasure and aversion. For all of these, focus the mind on whatever arises, and practice the unwavering three aspects of body, speech, and mind as before. Furthermore, reciting scriptures, chanting mantras, prostrations and circumambulations, as well as compassion, renunciation, etc., the virtuous deeds of body, speech, and mind, and all activities of walking, standing, sitting, and lying down, should be accomplished immediately with intention. By practicing whatever arises in an unfabricated way, one will grasp the key to self-liberation. These are all very important, but because there are no fixed sessions or numbers, they can be done as one pleases. For example, contemplation, circumambulation, the five preliminaries, and so on. Second, regarding the system of grounds, paths, and results: Thus, first tame the mind through the preliminaries, slightly adjust the central channel through the dissolving mudra, gain freedom in settling the mind, the obstacles of thoughts will not arise, and the signs of luminosity
