Because of not fixating on duality in the mind, Liberated from the four maras. The obscuration of knowledge is naturally purified. Form, feeling, perception, etc., If not fixated upon in the mind, One will be liberated from the three realms, And will not wander in samsara. If nothing is fixated upon in the mind, Habitual tendencies will not arise, and the bhumis and paths will be perfected. Not fixating in the mind is the supreme path, This is certainly what the Buddha taught. If one realizes non-fixation in the mind, There is no need to stop the movement of the mind, Like a mirage, it is naturally liberated. Here, two lines are missing in most versions, but for a yogi who has realized this, There is no need to prohibit unrestrained behavior, Whatever is done becomes the path, Not doing is the path. The so-called unachieved fruit, And the so-called fruit of the three kayas, Are spoken of in the sense of guidance, Names and marks, etc., There is not a single atom that is truly achieved, If it were achieved, what is achieved would fall into extremes. The other shore of samsara is nirvana.

Taking meaningless words that bring no blessings, therefore, practice in dangerous places. This verse is not in the original text, but it seems to have been added due to its excellent and beautiful wording. Note 109: The Great Collection of Instructions on the Cutting Practice, the Secret Teaching of the Perfection of Wisdom, composed by Machig Labdrön, the Dakini of Wisdom, is complete. It is said that during the time of Drasa Hagton, about eighty people listened to and discussed this text. In earlier times, there was also a commentary that was combined with the Sutra Collection. The Lord of Dharma, Rangjung Dorje, with his divisions and commentaries, represents many later commentaries on the text. This text and the text "Wish-Fulfilling Jewel" by the Brahmin Arya Deva seem to be the basis for all the instructions of the Cutting Practice. Note: May all be auspicious! The Essence of the Profound Meaning, the Heart Essence, which is the essence of all the texts and instructions of the Perfection of Wisdom Cutting Practice, is present. Homage to the Lama and the Mother of the Conquerors! The Dharmakaya is free from elaboration, beyond speech, thought, and expression, the realm of space. The Sambhogakaya is perfect with marks and signs, accomplishing the benefit of others by manifesting in various ways according to what needs to be tamed. Homage to the feet of emptiness, compassion, and the ultimate aspiration. Subduing the four maras with great power is the Dharma of the Great Vehicle. Samsara and Nirvana are without acceptance or rejection, which is the meaning of the Perfection of Wisdom. Transforming obstacles into the path is the tradition of Ama Jomo. Transforming adversity into favorable conditions, I will write the instructions of the Cutting Practice. Understanding the meaning of words, with vast compassion, possessing the eight kinds of wisdom. Accomplishing self-benefit, emptiness, compassion, skilled in practice and eliminating faults. Possessing faith, diligence, respect, armor, and perseverance. Desiring to obtain protection, advancement, good wishes, and omniscience. Receiving empowerment, becoming a supreme vessel, capable of holding the profound Dharma. Searching for the nature of mind through the path of accumulation and purification, and introducing it. In order to cut off ignorance, wrong views, biased views, and doubt, fortunate ones should hold this path well. Mara is the god mara, afflictions, the aggregates, and the Lord of Death. In particular, attachment and non-attachment, joy and elation, are the four maras. Cemetery, empty valley, temple, single tree, empty space, and so on. Sleeping in places where one's own mind fears, is afraid, and feels timid. At night, there is fear, gods and demons gather, and various thoughts arise. Cutting off doubt and obstacles.

When dispelling obstacles, do this. Desiring omniscience, take refuge and pray. Having the supreme Bodhicitta, is the path to liberation for all beings. Entrusting the dweller to the demon, the host and guest merge into one. Entrusting the escort to the enemy, one is liberated in a fearless and powerful place. Entrusting the sick to the ghost, one lives healthily and happily. Taking the path as a condition, one is free from unfavorable and conflicting conditions. Throwing the corpse as food, one is free from the mind of self-grasping. Separating body and mind, the master of self-grasping is lost. Cutting off the root of fear, fear is self-liberated. Abandoning the self-grasping of the body, obstacles arise as glory. Chasing after conditions, obstacles are pacified into emptiness. Grasping the evil spirits, the master of the fearful realm is lost. Knowing all as mind, non-grasping is self-liberated. Abandoning and letting go at will, no one can take it away. When one equally abides in the meaning of Dharma-nature, At that time, demons and others cannot bear it, and manifest various illusions. In outer, inner, and secret, in manifest experience and dreams, They show various forms, utter unpleasant sounds, and prophecies change. If conflict arises in the mind, self-grasping departs from the object. Taming the inner demon—one's own mind, the outer demon vanishes into emptiness. If something unbearable or impossible happens, step on it head-on. If fear and anxiety arise, throw discursive thoughts into the fire. If the illusion is too strong to suppress, cut off its continuation, Regret and doubt, wrong views, being disgusted with Dharma, Illness, suffering, imbalance of elements, loss of practice, etc., Obstacles arise from wrong thoughts, so exert effort and practice. Pushing the disadvantage to the extreme, hope and fear are self-liberated. Subduing with the power of the Great Vehicle, happiness and suffering are determined. Placing the great star under the darkness, the false cave of samsara and nirvana is sealed. In a fierce place, controlling with fierce power, gods and demons are pacified like illusions. If one must seek quarrels, practice the behavior of a madman. If they still manifest illusions, sing this song. With a mind that benefits all, hook them with the iron hook of compassion. At the time of decline, bad omens, manifest experiences and dreams arise. Recognize that the outer, inner, and secret three appear in oneself. When one-pointedly meditates in the state of emptiness, Dual union, the illusion of samsara and nirvana will surely be cut off, without doubt. If there is no sign of begging in the preliminary practice, detach from the mind of begging. If there is no sign of suppression in the main practice,
