Whatever the mind does, it does for the benefit of others. If behavior becomes ordinary, it falls into the eight worldly concerns, because it is the impurity of wrongness. Therefore, abandon attachment to this life and dedicate your life to practice. Second, regarding the degree of completion, there are four: Completion by essence occurs when all thoughts and concepts dissolve into the primordial dharmadhatu without needing to be held by memory, thus being inseparable from virtuous activity. Completion by signs occurs when the signs of cause, path, and result become extremely clear and stable. Completion by qualities occurs when one touches the actual attainment of the qualities of Buddhahood. Completion by number is seven hundred thousand, and the time is half a month. Finally, there is the instruction manual for entrusting oneself to the path of non-action. Second, correcting and reciting this with the three austerities involves four sets of three. The first set is the three examples. The first example: relying on a master and cutting off additions and subtractions is like the austerity of a Shravaka, which means regarding the master with devotion as the key point, and thus well requesting and understanding the guidance of practice. The second example: practicing and cultivating alone is like the austerity of a Pratyekabuddha, which means establishing a deity mandala with pure appearance in a solitary place, thus attaining accomplishment in this life. The third example: after one's own benefit is brought to completion, doing the benefit of others is like the austerity of a great courageous Bodhisattva, which means employing Dakinis in places where the interdependent connections of activity are complete, thus focusing solely on the benefit of others. The second set is the three types of individuals: abandoning worldly affairs is the way of the ordained; embracing worldly affairs is the way of the householder; abiding in the qualities of cultivated behavior, without accumulating possessions, is the way of the mendicant. The third set is the three times: each of the three types of individuals also has three lengths of time: long, medium, and short. For the ordained, the best time for austerity like that of a Pratyekabuddha is twelve years, medium is six years, and the shortest is three years. For the householder, the best time is three months, medium is two months, and the shortest is one month. For the mendicant, the best time is three days, medium is two days, and the shortest is one day. The fourth set is the three ways of bestowing: it is called the single transmission of the ordained, which means that before the previous path is brought to completion, the subsequent path is not given, nor is it allowed to be practiced, thus applying the gradual path to reaching completion. It is called the curved transmission of the householder, which means that for as long as there is free time, such as a month, all five paths are completed during that time, and then for as much free time as there is later,

Repeating the previous, it leads to the completion of the path. For the lazy, it is called "union," which means to practice all five paths completely within one day or one session. Thus, dividing into three methods of transmission ensures that practitioners of all three types of faculties will not lose their vows of practice and will achieve completion. As the venerable Drenpa De'u's Gocha said, "The ladder of asceticism is divided into three levels, without falling into the laziness of practitioners, identifying defilements, and the key combination of guarding vows." Third, the yoga of the effortless fruit is: the essence of one's own mind, naturally pure, manifested through the effort of the path and the blessings of the guru, ultimately purifying all temporary defilements, and in the state of the expanse, the wisdom of awareness is liberated, which is the Dharmakaya. Above that, the power of self-luminousness is completely perfected without bias, and obtaining mastery over awareness, the pure body adorned with marks and signs appears to the pure perception of those to be tamed, which is the Sambhogakaya. Above that, the nature of mind, in the state of inseparable appearance and emptiness, with skillful means of action, appearing in whatever way tames whomever, is the Nirmanakaya. These three bodies are also inseparable, which is the body of great bliss. Thus, having attained the four bodies, with the wisdom of knowing as it is and knowing all that exists, the activity of taming beings to be tamed is pervasive without bias. Until samsara is empty, until then, it will arise effortlessly and spontaneously. The time of attainment is that the best see the Dharma in this very life, the middling at the time of death, and the lowest will not exceed the bardo. Moreover, in terms of essence, it can be accomplished in this very life; in terms of signs, it is accomplished at the time of death; in terms of number, it is definitely accomplished in the bardo; and in terms of qualities, it arises in future lives. These are based on the instructions of the "Five Paths" by Omniscient Sonam Pal, supplementing what needs to be supplemented, and written as black letters that can be read, which is the end. Third, incidentally explaining other expedient branches, there are three: removing obstacles, increasing strength, and showing the key door of how to practice. First, removing the obstacles of the imbalance of the elements, cutting off the distraction of skillful means and wisdom, and pacifying the four stains of each path.
