Filled with light from the soles of the feet to the crown of the head, all obscurations of body, speech, and mind are purified. The body is the manifestation of the deity, and in the state of no inherent existence, the mind rests without contrivance. This is the fourth empowerment. Recite mantras and ring the bell. From the Ocean of Wisdom, it is said, "In the mandala of the Guru's body, the four empowerments are completely received, and all stages of the path are traversed." Recite this three times. This is the outer empowerment. Then, the Hevajra of the east dissolves into light and merges into the central Chakrasamvara. Similarly, they dissolve in sequence and merge into the central Chakrasamvara. That Chakrasamvara also dissolves into light, flickering, and merges into the crown of your head. Reaching the brow, you receive the vase empowerment; reaching the throat, you receive the secret empowerment; reaching the heart, you receive the wisdom-awareness empowerment; reaching the navel, it dissolves into light, and the body becomes empty and clear. In the state of no object of focus, the body and mind rest without contrivance. This is the fourth empowerment, the inner four empowerments. Recite mantras and ring the bell. Afterwards, perform offerings, praise, ask for forgiveness, request, invite, and gather. This is the record of the Gau Ma four empowerments. Bhikshu Ngawang Cho Drak recorded it according to the practice in Dzong Ganden. This was written based on this text, consulting ancient books, so that it can be read. The instructions of Gau Ma and the teachings relying on the lineage are very important. Here, the five teachings of Mahamudra are: the Gau Ma empowerment just mentioned, the deathless body, the deathless mind, transforming the five poisons into the path, and the three aspects of the path. The excellent teaching of the deathless body is present here. The excellent teaching of the deathless body is: Prepare the mandala, a four-petaled lotus. The center is blue, and the four petals are painted with colors according to the directions. Around it, arrange offerings and a torma. The master sits on the seat. The main practice, the self-generation and the front-generation, first is the self-generation: First, take refuge, generate bodhicitta, and the four immeasurables. Purify with स्वाभाव (Tibetan: སྭ་བྷཱ་ཝ།, Devanagari: स्वभाव, Romanized Sanskrit: svabhāva, meaning: nature). From emptiness, in an instant, on the seat of a lotus, sun, Vajrabhairava, and Kālī, transform yourself into Chakrasamvara, body color blue. Adorned with human heads and bone ornaments. Three eyes red. Holding a vajra and bell, embracing the consort Vajravarahi, red in color. The right leg extended, the left leg bent, sitting. On his forehead is ओं (Tibetan: ཨོཾ, Devanagari: ओ, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ, meaning: complete), on his throat is आः (Tibetan: ཨཱཿ, Devanagari: आः, Romanized Sanskrit: āḥ, meaning: arising), and on his heart is हुं (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Devanagari: हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, meaning: entering). From हुं (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Devanagari: हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, meaning: entering), rays of light emanate, inviting the wisdom beings. (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal meaning), thus blessing the three places.
