Fourth, for the sake of the precious speech empowerment, pour the vase water, and visualize that the conceptualizations of grasping and being grasped are purified into the expanse. Hūṃ. By obtaining the fourth empowerment, all the defilements of body, speech, and mind, together with their habitual tendencies, are purified. With this visualization, rest slightly in equanimity, having been made capable of obtaining the fruit, the Svābhāvikakāya. Thus, the four empowerments of designation and symbols, or the vase empowerment, are completed. Second, offer a maṇḍala for the sake of the samādhi empowerment, or requesting the four empowerments of obtaining the meaning. Have them offer the maṇḍala. Then, there are two types here: empowerment related to instructions, and instructions related to empowerment.
