Did you see it? Did you hear it? Or are you still in doubt? It is also said that the five great sages have supernatural powers and can travel far in the sky, but where is the realm of the immortal, they cannot go there. It is also said that even the solid Mount Meru will be completely destroyed into ashes, and the deep and vast ocean will dry up, so why wouldn't the weak bodies of sentient beings perish? Therefore, it is said, where the earth is burned, Mount Meru will also be destroyed into ashes, and the water of the ocean will also dry up, what to say about sentient beings? It is said like this. If you still want to be immortal, why aren't you immortal? From the hair on your head to the soles of your feet, examine everything carefully. There is nothing more miserable, weaker, unclean, or without any permanent nature than this. To regard this as clean, to see it as permanent, to cling to it as self, is entirely deceived by one's own illusions. Even the body of the Buddha, like a vajra, will perish, so why wouldn't my body, which has no essence, perish? One should think like this. If the bodies of the Buddhas, adorned with marks and signs, even the vajra body is impermanent, then what need to be said about sentient beings who are like water bubbles and banana trees without essence? It is said like this. Third, contemplate the law of karma: Both thought and action are virtuous, which is generally white karma; both thought and action are non-virtuous, which is generally black karma; if either thought or action is virtuous and the other is non-virtuous, it is mixed karma. The first results in only happiness, the second results in only suffering, and the third results in a mixture of happiness and suffering. Among them, the stronger ones mature quickly, the karma that can be experienced in this life, the karma that will be experienced in the next life, and the karma that matures after many lives. Thus, the karma that one has done and accumulated will mature in one's own body. Therefore, the sinful and non-virtuous aspects, even if small, should be abandoned, and the roots of virtue, even if small, should be increased. One should know the example of how a small poison can kill a great person, and a small medicine can cure a great disease. All the happiness, suffering, good, and bad of sentient beings follow

They will not go to waste; they follow karma. Jowo Je said: What is thought of may not be achieved, because it is accomplished by other causes and karma. It is comfortable to relax and let go. Others say: Karma follows like a shadow. Most people are exhausted by sinful karma. The destination of the next life is only the lower realms. The Hundred Karmas say: The karmas of sentient beings will not be exhausted even in a hundred kalpas. When they are gathered and the time comes, they will ripen into fruit. The fruit of benefiting is great happiness. The fruit of harming is suffering. Do not do any evil, practice perfect virtue, and subdue your own mind. This is the teaching of the Buddha. Fourth, contemplate the faults of samsara: In the Mindfulness Sutra, it is said: Sentient beings in hell are harmed by the fire of hell. Hungry ghosts are harmed by hunger and thirst. Animals are harmed by being eaten by each other. Humans are harmed by short lives. Gods are harmed by carelessness. It is said that sentient beings in hell are repeatedly struck by the terrifying weapons of the Yama, born from karma. Whatever revives, it is struck again. After drawing a black line, it is sawn off with a saw, which is the Black Line Hell. Squeezing between objects like iron mountain goats, which is the Crushing Hell. A burning single-pointed stake is inserted from the crown of the head and emerges from the anus, causing crying, which is the Crying Hell. Piercing the body with three-pointed stakes, causing great crying, which is the Great Crying Hell. The body is burned by a chain of flames, which is the Hot Hell. Boiling in boiling pus, which is the Extremely Hot Hell. The body is burned, and iron nails are nailed without gaps. The tongue is plowed by five hundred plows, etc., suffering severe torment, which is the Uninterrupted Hell. In terms of time, the six hells, such as revival, are in order: The life of the desire realm gods is equal to one day and night in hell. Therefore, the lifespan of these hells is equal to the lifespan of the desire realm gods. The Extremely Hot Hell and half of the Uninterrupted Hell are one intermediate kalpa. It is said. Furthermore, sinking into bottomless rivers, falling into forests of sword-leaf trees, entering thorny thickets, being blocked by grounds filled with razors, walking without order, swallowing burning iron balls, drinking boiling pus and blood, sitting on fiercely burning ground, being overturned and fleeing, fainting, wailing, etc., enduring suffering in various forms.
