The picture is clear! By making the mandala of the capable one, one obtains these six perfections. Thus and so on was spoken. The Dharma Lord also said that all the interdependence of the Buddha-fields is in this. Then, having the strength of the support of having generated the mind of enlightenment, completely refuting regret for what was done before, taking vows not to do it later, returning from sin, using the words of confession such as the Sutra of Confession of the Downfalls of Enlightenment, diligently practicing all the powers of the antidote, confessing all the sins of oneself and others with the four powers, and rejoicing in the roots of virtue, urging those who have not long become Buddhas to turn the wheel of Dharma, requesting those who wish to pass into Nirvana not to pass away, and dedicating their roots of virtue to unsurpassed enlightenment. Having done so, the field of accumulation is gathered into oneself as before. Fourth, the guidance of the Guru Yoga that causes blessings to enter: Oneself, visualizing any deity one likes, such as the venerable Vajrayogini, on the crown of one's head, on a precious throne supported by yakshas and lions, covered with silk, on a seat stacked with lotus, moon, and sun, the root guru is inseparable from the Great Vajradhara, clearly visualizing. On the crown of one's head, the lineage gurus reside in a stack up to Vajradhara. All of them are one in essence in the realm of pure Dharmata, appearing as the form body that tames whatever needs to be tamed. From the root guru to Vajradhara, there is no high or low in intention, and no decrease or increase in compassion, visualizing them as residing as the one and only Buddha. Then, make the lineage supplication. The lower and lower gurus, with the force of their compassion, gradually dissolve into the higher and higher gurus, and finally dissolve into the root guru. From the guru's brow, countless white rays of light radiate, enter one's own brow, and fill the whole body. Purify the defilements of the body, and receive the vase empowerment. One is empowered to meditate on the path of the generation stage, and becomes a fortunate one to obtain the Nirmanakaya, the body Vajra, as the result. From the throat's Ah (Tibetan: ཨཱཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: आः, Sanskrit Romanization: āḥ, Chinese literal meaning: Ah), countless red rays of light radiate, enter the throat, and fill the whole body. Purify the defilements of speech, and receive the secret empowerment. One is empowered to meditate on the path of the channels, winds, and bindus, and becomes a fortunate one to obtain the Sambhogakaya, the speech Vajra, as the result. From the guru's heart, rays of light radiate.

Blue light radiates, dwells in one's own heart, fills the entire body, purifies the defilements of the mind, obtains the empowerment of wisdom and primordial awareness, has the power to meditate on the path of the messengers, and becomes one who has the fortune to attain the fruit, the Dharmakaya of the Vajra of the Heart. From the three places of the Lama, white, red, and blue lights radiate, enter from one's own three places, fill the entire body, purify the defilements and habitual tendencies of grasping the three, body, speech, and mind, as separate. Obtains the fourth empowerment, has the power to meditate on the path of Mahamudra, and becomes one who has the fortune to attain the fruit, the Svabhavikakaya, the Vajra of Primordial Awareness. Finally, contemplate the Lama together with the throne dissolving into oneself. Thus, this is the preliminary text for all instructions, advised by Pema Karpo to Lhatsun Ghenpen Zangpo.
