Without deliberation. At the time of mind, it is devoid of mind. From the very beginning, delusion is pure from the outset, so samsara is merely a conventional term applied to the defilement of not realizing the mind. In the ultimate sense, there has never been delusion or liberation, so the mind is introduced as the original, primordial Buddha. Moreover, the mind appears as everything, so it is the basis of all (ཀུན་གཞི།). It is the emptiness Dharmakaya, the basis of delusion due to ignorance, and the basis of liberation due to awareness. Delusion and liberation are not fabricated from the beginning and transcend the mind, so it is the primordial basis. Therefore, in the glorious Second Examination Tantra, it says: "Sentient beings are Buddhas, But are obscured by adventitious stains. If those stains are removed, They are truly Buddhas." And, in the Tantra of Penetrating Awareness, it says: "Ho! All of appearance and existence, samsara and nirvana, Are all. One basis, two paths, two fruits. The magic of awareness and ignorance, The basis of all is uncreated. Self-born, vast space, beyond words." And, in the Praise of the Names of Manjushri, it says: "Buddhas have no beginning or end, The first Buddha has no cause." And, in the Blissful Supreme Ralila, it says: "The mind-essence of sentient beings is clear light, From before beginningless time, The first supreme Buddha, Is uncorrupted by cause or condition." And, in the Whispered Transmission Vajra Verses, it says: "From the ground, uncorrected, spontaneously accomplished from the beginning, When placed in the great ordinary self-nature, Without change, in the vast expanse of space, Without birth or death, one will obtain the Dharmakaya body." Thus it is said, cut the root of the primordial basis. If one realizes it definitively, one can be certain of being the first Buddha, and by manifestation, one becomes the Buddha of instantaneous awareness. If that is stable without meditation or post-meditation, one becomes a Buddha through the manifestation of realization. If the three, body, appearance, and mind, merge into one, and one cuts through the ground and path in this life, and is able to manifestly show the signs of accomplishing clairvoyance and magical powers, etc., one is called an accomplished one or a Buddha in one lifetime, one body. Second, the letters of meditation that show the method of abiding: Having realized and ascertained that view, in meditative equipoise, the body is immovable like a mountain, speech is silent like a lute with a broken string, the mind is without thought like winnowed grain, with the six methods of abiding, like a continuous river, as before, in post-meditation, whatever appears, whatever arises, maintain it without wavering from its meaning. The best is without meditation or post-meditation, the intermediate is

The nature of post-attainment. Ultimately, one should meditate until post-attainment effortlessly arises as illusion. Fourth, although it is the fruit from the door of attainment, if view and meditation fall into error, pure conduct will not arise, and therefore the fruit will not be attained. Therefore, the third of the instruction's Dharma categories is taken here, and in meaning, it is the fourth letter of the fruit. By meditating on that very wisdom of realization and maintaining it without distraction, conduct arises on the path of Dharma-nature. There are five Dharma categories for this. It is said that realizing ignorance itself as self-awareness is like raising a lamp in the darkness. Just as darkness is not abandoned but turns into light, there is no doubt about the evil cycle of existence. There is no attachment to the good nirvana. Just as knowing a dream is a dream, there is no attachment to external appearances. Just as looking at the expanse of the sky, the teacher of experience and experiencer transcends the mind, there is no attachment to inner experiences. Although stars have never existed in water, when interdependent conditions come together, they appear clearly on the surface of clear water without being mixed. Likewise, the clarity of realizing the emptiness of mind as it is, the interdependence of cause and effect appears distinctly as it is without being mixed. Just as a sighted person does not jump into a cliff, one does not despise the results of actions. This is the third in relation to view, meditation, and fruit. The fourth in relation to the order of cutting off errors in view and meditation has six Dharma categories. First, because one is distracted by non-distraction, one does not follow it but seals it with the wisdom of Dharma-nature. Second, one transforms desirable qualities into the path through the practice of the three faculties of superior, middling, and inferior. Third, one mixes the delusion of daytime with the wisdom of equipoise. Fourth, one seizes as much as possible the luminosity of realization. Fifth, one clarifies oneself with a teaching once a day. Sixth, if one does not attain the fruit in one body, at the moment of death, in the first bardo, one connects to the boundary of attaining Buddhahood in the Dharmakaya, that is, the meaning of the fourth letter becomes manifest. Third, the subsequent is that the meaning of the fourth letter is maintained continuously like a river, so that realization and liberation arise simultaneously. As for the leap-over, the difference between high and low is extremely great, so the order cannot be clearly indicated. Therefore, the definite order of the four yogas is mainly taught with the intention of those who arise in stages. The way of traversing the grounds and paths, etc., is intended to be common.
